Located within the Fort Worth Botanical Gardens , Garden's Restaurant offers a quiet escape from a hectic day, just minutes north of Downtown Fort Worth. It's a perfect location for a business lunch, with a beautiful view of the botanical gardens. The fare is very basic and includes sandwiches and salads as well as a variety of desserts. The restaurant is also a popular place for wedding receptions, brunches and business meetings.
We try out different places on the weekends and have found a treasure. The place is beautiful and the food is delicious. The service is very good and discreet, made us feel very special and the prices were very affordable.
We returned for Sunday brunch, which we heard from our server was very popular and were not dissappointed. The food and dessert buffet was very tastefully displayed and the fresh flowers on the tables made the restaurant look very elegant. We will be returning!
The atmosphere could not be better. the tables had fresh flowers as centerpieces. i loved that. I went in on a wednesday about 3pm. it was empty except for me and a couple.i ordered a california club sandwich. I waited 45 minutes for it. the bread was cold and hard. the meat was deli meat from walmart. the fries was halfcooked. the bacon was hard and tasteless. i asked them to change my fries and bacon. they did immediately. still did not reach my satisfaction. the waitress was very sarcastic when i simply asked what kind of bacon it was. the manager came out and she was clearly irritated and acted unprofessional likewise. would not go there again to eat.
I love the location, food and atmosphere. The food is delicious and affordable!!! The servers are very pleasant and attentive. I would recommend this to everyone and the gardens around the restaurant are beautiful!!I have visited the Gardens Restaurant several times and have found their food to be consistent and delicious. The sandwiches are above average and the entree are hearty and the presentation is absolutely first class. I love the tranquil setting and the ambiance of the Restaurant. It is the best kept secret of Fort Worth!
Best kept secret in the Fort Worth area; Rebecca & Colleen assisted me in making our Mother's 80th birthday luncheon for 40 guest one of the nicest parties you could ever ask for; they worked a menu that was within our budget serving delicious and beautifully presented food and drinks. Our wait staff was attentive and allowed us to feel both comfortable and un-rushed. After the luncheon our family enjoyed picture taking in the lovely gardens. It was a perfect day, thank you Gardens Restaurant.
we enjoy going to the Sunday brunch here, the setting is so beautiful - but it has become obvious to us that the cooking staff has been changed, and the quality of the food has suffered. Someone has a heavy hand here with paprika, and the sauces taste as if bottled. The readymade pie served recently had not been out of the fridge long enough to thaw. Please return to fresh simple food and leave the shortcuts to the fast food business.
I had my hopes high for a wonderful afternoon baby shower for my friend during Sunday brunch.....but that was not what I received. At $15 per head I was very dissappointed with what I experienced. My arrangements for the table setup were not ready and had to be redone while my guests were arriving. The service was good but not great and the food selection was poor. On top of that the meats were tough and the breads and desserts were dry and hard. I was completely unimpressed, not to mention I sent a letter to the manager Rebekka to let her know of my experience and she has yet to respond....hmmmm, can we say unproffessional too?
