Whenever I am in Fort Worth I have to have a Kincaid burger. Love them. Just like the good places--soda fountains, Dirty's in Austin, Sandy's in Austin. Onion rings out of this world. To lose this place would be a disaster. The atmosphere is great at the original place. It is lost in the new places.
Best burgers in Ft. worth!!!! I am 30, my dad is 60, he tells me the burgers taste like they did when he was a kid. The veggies are fresh, the enviroment is awesome, and it might take a while the service is always great with a smile. Doesn't get much better than this!!
The original (Camp Bowie) has always been 5 Star. But the Gentry's need to spend a few months over at the Hulen store. Like others have stated- tasteless meat, tasteless fries, and where's the lettuce and onions? Is there a shortage of produce going on that I dont know about? I'd fix this location before it ruins your reputation.
Fun atmosphere! Family seating and laid-back staff make this a must-do for visitors. The place is definitely not frou-frou, so if you're going for class, don't bother. But! If you want a great burger far above the flavor of a B-King, Mic-Dz or Whata-whatever burger, this is the place and its very affordable, too! Reminds you of the 50s diners but not as tidy.
Just like I remember from my youth; no fancy menu of oddly dressed, frozen, tastless, slabs of what passes for meat in burgers elswhere these days here.
You'll find simplicity and well thought out burgers, generous, with great portions of sides.
