Texas Star Bakery is the best bakery in DFW area. For my son's wedding we had the Classic Groom's cake. He had the Texas LongHorn logo on top. Chocolate cake,chocolate fudge filling, chocolate icing. With Chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate shavings. It was awesome. I highly recomend this bakery for weddings. My daughter will getting married next yr. I will be getting her cake here. They also have great customer sevice ,affordable prices. fabulous deserts. I can't say enough about this bakery. You just have to check them out . Great Job (Texas Star Bakery) !!!!!!!!!

LOVE - LOVE - LOVE Texas Star Bakery!!!! Always fresh and exactly what I have requested, not to mention their expertise additions to exceed my expectations for over 13 years. WOW! Attended a wedding last weekend and the cakes were amazing and beyond delicious! The grooms cake was ONE of a kind - chocolate with broken up chunks of chocolate around it like a rock wall.... almost too perfect to eat!

My favorite bakery. Lots of icing and always beautiful. We bought our very custom wedding cakes from Texas Star and were very happy with the results. My twin sons first birthday cake was from Texas Star too -- in all the hustle and bustle of planning, I forgot to order the cake, but they were gracious in getting something done for me at the last minute. Not the custom order I had hoped for, but a good compromise given the time crunch. As others have said, expect to stand in lines if you are there during a peak traffic time. Also, plan ahead and order at least a week in advance or you probably won't be able to custom order anything. Texas Star is a popular place because it is so good, so plan accordingly.

Every time we use this bakery the cakes have been wonderful. I would recommend it to everyone.

I would NEVER use or recommend this bakery to anyone! I found their website while trying to find a cake for a very special baby shower. I called to get pricing and more information and was told that they would needs a week's notice for the cake that I chose. I specifically asked if I called on Monday, June 6, would that be enough time and was told that it was. I called today and was told by a very rude person that they could not have the cake I wanted ready on Saturday June 11 because they were booked up. I explained what I was told when I called a month ago and the person was even more rude. I don't understand how this type of customer service brings in business!!

we use texas star bakery for every occasion. they do very unique work and always looks so amazing. we do not use any one else. we have never had to complain about disliking a cake. they are very dedicated to making sure they get the cake exactly right.

We used the Texas Star Bakery for our wedding. We were getting frustrated with their ordering process because we thought we had placed an order when apparently we only received a quote. They will not talk with you about orders on the weekend, because they are too busy. In the end, they delivered beautiful and delicious cakes to our wedding on time. I was very pleased with the end result, but a little frustrated with the ordering. I would highly recommend them however, because my wedding guests thought the cake was gorgeous and so delicious!

I love Texas Star Bakery: I have been using this bakery for 8 years. I've never been disappointed with a single cake I have gotten from them. Not only are the cakes the most beautifully decorated I've ever seen but the taste is out of this world. The staff has always been very helpful in giving me ideas for decorations.

This was the first time I have special ordered a cake. It was for my daughter's 5th birthday party. I took took the plates with the design on it to the bakery on Monday, needing the cake on Saturday. The woman who took my order told me they couldn't get a picture from the plates but I could email them a picture of the unicorn. I came home that day and sent the email. Friday afternoon I received a message that they never received it so I sent it again right away. they said they would call if they didn't receive it. Saturday the cake was supposed to be ready by 11am. I went to pick it up about 12:30pm. I stood in line for about a half hour waiting to pick up the cake. When I got to the counter the woman told me they never got my email. She said they had tried to call me all day Saturday which was a straight up lie! When I said I never received a call the woman behind the counter said maybe they had the # wrong but I could see the # written clearly and correctly on the order sheet she had in her hand. She informed me that if I wanted to wait the decorator could whip something up. Not having much choice and the cake was already paid for so I said yes. I waited another 45 minutes for them to slap some random unicorn picture on a cake. They never wrote the message on the cake that I asked for when I placed my order! I was late for my own daughter's party! They never apologized! All in all I was beyond disappointed with the way they handled things. People order cakes for special occasions and they could act as if it matters. I would not suggest ordering your cake from here! I definitely will not be using them in the future!

I just ordered my first cake. The reviews on Yelp are awesome! I wanted to leave a review because this bakery is beyond great. I ordered a cake in the shape of a cheeseburger. It was the coolest cake I have ever seen. 3 layers of heavenly cake which is what I really care about but my son was thrilled with his cheeseburger cake. I can't wait until my next event. When I went in to order they have lots of books with ideas to look at. I had seen a picture of a cake in the shape of a hot dog and asked if they could do a cheeseburger because it is my son's favorite food group. The cake was perfect and the girl that helped me was great, all smiles. My experience was wonderful and I will be back. By the way I also got some cupcakes while I was there and they will blow your socks off!
