Buck N' Loons

Description

This casual eatery serves some of the biggest burgers in town - guaranteed to stave off hunger pains. This is a great family-friendly restaurant with an attentive wait staff. The decor is rustic, with Texas memorabilia adorning the walls. The menu consists of home-cooked favorites including burgers, Chicken Fried Steak, Pork Chops and Meatloaf. On the lighter side, there is an excellent selection of salads, as well as grilled chicken sandwiches. For dessert, try a thick Chocolate Milkshake or choose from a variety of smoothies for something light. The bar serves beer and a variety of mixed drinks.

This place sucks! Worst tasting food ever! They have the greasist burgers on the planet with no flavor. The only redeeming quality about this place is it is great to take the kids they can be as loud as they want. In fact they may be closed. Drove by there the other day at dinner time and no cars. Could it be?

Great burgers! Need I say more? OK. It would be even better if they would clean the place a little.

We met some good friends here prior to a Texas Rangers game. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. I recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Arlington area.

Our food was terrible. We started with a side salad that was wilted and not fresh. Then burgers came. My husband a real burger guy ordered just a regular cheese burger. It looked good, but the meat was bad. Bad taste, bad texture just awful. I knew when he only took a few bites and left it, it was bad. He's like Mikey, he'll eat anything. The meat was not spoiled, but the consistency of very cheap hamburger meat, you know the stuff in the tube. I got the Frito burger with chili, Fritos and cheese dip, which helped a little, but the chili was bland and again the meat was awful. I managed to eat about a quarter, usually I eat half and my husband finishes. Then we ordered what we had come for, Fried Pie. The Apricot was just ok and the coconut had so much artificial flavor it reminded me of suntan lotion. I guess the only good thing was our server was sweet and prompt. Although, she never cleared the table of salad dishes or burger dishes even after we ordered dessert. We were moving things around to make room for the dessert plates. The restaurant smells stale. It needs deep cleaning. The memorabilia on the walls is dusty and needs to be freshened. This was the worst meal we've had since we got spoiled steaks at Arlington Steak House a couple of years ago. We won't be back.

One of my favorite places to eat, it would be perfect if the owner would ever look at me or greet me after seeing me in there for the last 10 years.

Great Food and quick service. My family and I were all happy with our meals. The chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken are the best I've tasted from any restaurant I've been to. Definitely a great place to go!
