I don't prefer Mijo's for anything. Everyone I go out to lunch with seems to love this place! I haven't found anything to brag about here. I don't like the white cheese and I don't like the black beans. More often than not, I leave more than 2/3's of my dinner for the trash can. I usually like Mexican and only got introduced to Tex Mex recently. I wish they would offer an alternative some things on the menu - like - cheddar cheese? Refried Pinto beans?

This place is really good. I eat a ton of tex-mex but this is the best place I've eaten in the area.

Fresh Semi-Authentic Taqueria

We go here once a week, and I have yet to find a dish on the menu that isn't excellent. Very fresh ingredients more of the authentic ilk than tex-mex (soft corn tortillas, black beans, avocados, cilantro, white cheese, etc.). I especially love the fish tacos and the chiles rellenos. Great price, good service, taqueria-style (order at the front counter).

Mijo's is great, fresh and healthy Mexican food. The one friend I have who hates the place is a fan of a nasty restaurant on Pioneer that is a total grease pit so yeah, I can see why she would hate something that has little grease and is fresh and healthy. All of my healthy, fit friends like Mijo's. It isn't anything fancy, but for a quick and healthy meal at a decent price you can't beat it!

Pretty dang good, especially for the price. Food is fresh, tasty and two of us ate for $15. You can get a better meal at Marianos or Rancho Grande in FW for more $, but Mijos is an excellent value. Now, they've added draft beer. This will take them up a notch, for me.

I have been going to Mijo's for years. I eat there at least once a week. The food is great! The service is exceptional! And the food is really quite healthy! My favorite is the simple, yet satisfying Chicken Adobado Street Tacos. Fajitas are good, enchiladas are great, and their slaw is to die for! My wife also really likes their fish tacos! And refried BLACK beans! YUMMY...I may go there today! I recommend this place, and any of their dishes are great!!!
