Ochoa's Mexican Restaurants, Athens

The food is delicious. The staff is very good. The salsa tastes freshly made not out of a can. The prices are very affordable. I would recommend anyone to eat here.

There was a hair in my food, they took my plate. I never ever took a bite. When I got it back it was all watered down. It was NOT eat-able at all. I told the girl and she did nothing about it. Soooo I didn t get to eat. When I went to check out I told the lady I was not paying for something I didn t get to eat. She charged me for my tea, and that was OK... But then she charged me for chips and salsa. I m sorry..... But that was just not right. After I left I went and got me a burger. I ate NOTHING and it still cost me 5.76....

Ochoa's Mexican Restaurant is wonderful. It's my favorite place to eat In Town and the fajitas are the best around. Prices are fair and you get good portion amounts. Comfortable seating and good service. You can't go wrong!

CLOSED DOWN. We went 2/14/12. We were so disappointed and went to athen's Italian place instead.

By far the best Mexican restaurant in town, it is where my family goes just to have good food and enjoy each others company. The salsa and queso are phenomenal and the Chicken Flautas are to die for. My only recommendation is to go there to eat in the restaurant and not get take out, you don't get as much food when you get the take out. Otherwise a must when visiting Athens or Malakoff Texas.

Today was my first time eating at Ochoa's and I must say I enjoyed every bite. Everything was good from the service to the food. Oh and the salsa is the best!!! I will go there again and again.

Definately the BEST Mexican Food around. I have been eating at Ochoa's since they open many years ago. Consistently good food! Ochoa's restaraunt: The food is great. the waitress could not speak hardly any english, but i will definetly go back.

My husband and I were in Athen's this past weekend for a wedding and looked on the internet for a good place to eat. We found Ochoa's and decided to try it. Not only did we enjoy it, we went back the next day for lunch. We told some of the others there for the wedding and they also tried it and loved it. Can't wait until my next visit to eat there again. Loved the hot sauce, best I've ever eaten.
