Save your money if you want a 4 or 5 star dining experience. Expect to pay an average of 45 to 55 dollars per person + tip, drinks, etc. and the management is not good although the servers are good. The customer is never right there and the management will tell you that. So good food, good service, outrageous price (definitely not worth the 45 to 75 per person) and bad management sums it up.

I went to Truluck's in Addison with a group from work. The food was awesome and the service was great. I want to take my husband back for a special night out.

First rate seafood place - a little pricey, but generous portions and consistency are staples of the establishment. The one off Beltline seems a little busier, but I prefer the one on McKinney. It's atmopshere is altogether a better fit for any night when you are likely to spend a hundred bucks on a date.

Never disappoints
By Andrea, 8/2/07
My husband and I frequent the Dallas and Addison locations often because the service is impeccable, the ambiance is casual yet refined, and then there's the food... Stone crabs to die for, their fresh fish dishes are always fantastic, drinks and desserts are consistently top-notch. We always spend more than $100 between the two of us, and we've never once regretted a penny of it! If you want an upscale dining experience without the snotty waitstaff/clientele that you might find at other places (e.g. Mansion on Turtle Creek) this will definitely fit the bill!

Excellent Steaks & Wine Selection
By MiAmor, 6/17/06
Food as usual is always outstanding and they have more than just steaks on the menu. A little on the pricey side, but it's well worth it. On the weekends, make a reservation, unless you don't mind waiting for at least an hour or so.

I didn't find this resaurant worth the price. Try Del Frisco's instead.

Great For Any Occasion
By Sheba, 4/6/06
Each time I go to Truluck's, it just seems better and better. The atmosphere is ALWAYS ncie. It's a nice intimate setting if you're out with someone, or casual enough for girl's night out, or maybe just going to the bar for a drink, or a birthday/anniversary dinner. The stone crab and a thick, juicy steak are a must try. The drinks are fairly above average, and dessert is just magnificent if you can find room. The food portions aren't small at all. The Addison location is FAR better than the one on McKinney.

Always excellent
By Becky, 3/21/06
So it was our 3rd visit to Truluck's and I am always pleased when I bite into their juicy meats....mmmm, whether its the delicious center-cut tenderloin or the scrumptious chicken saltimbocca, you just can't go wrong with this menu! My husband and I like to treat ourselves to fine dining that isn't stuffy or requires formal clothing(especially on a weeknight). he had a wonderful pinot noir to begin and we shared the calimari as an appetizer--very good. we couldn't resist the tasty crab and corn chowder, great if you like a little bit of spice. the chicken saltimbocca was my choice and it was very juicy. the garlic mashed potatoes can't be beat! we ended with a mocha mudpie that was wonderful with a cup of joe. another excellent dinner at trulucks!
