I've been eating sushi all over Dallas for about 20 years. This was the freshest sushi I can remember having!
The ratio of rice to fish was great - mostly fish!
The server and manager were very friendly and very attentive.
The restaurant and restroom were very clean.
We are definitely going back to Sushi Yokohama!
The ambience was not spectacular, but was certainly pleasant enough.
My wife and I love Sushi Yokohama. Like the other reviewers, I love the calm atmosphere. It's a small restaurant, so even if it is full, it's not too noisy. It's always super clean (a good thing for a place that serves raw fish) and the staff is always professional and courteous. And... of course... the sushi is always perfect. It's so fresh and always served cool. I've been to some other sushi places and was petrified because the sushi was luke warm--a sure sign they aren't keeping the food sanitary.
Anyhow... if you like great sushi and a quiet enjoyable meal, you simply have to try this place!
This is by far my favorite Sushi Restaurant. the service is great, the atmosphere is soothing and the food just melts in your mouth and topping it off with strawberry mochi ice cream at the end makes the evening perfect!
This is the freshest sushi in the DFW area! The quality and portions are incomparable. They have cut me the biggest slabs of sashimi that I have ever eaten, and every inch of it is like heaven. They also have a wide variety of rolls that are pretty inventive and tasty. The price is not too high, but definitely a bargain when you compare the quality and portions with other places. Nice, quiet ambience, but with the right crowd, it can get a little crazy on a busy weekend night. I won't go anywhere else. I've tried everywhere in Dallas... so if you're not eating Yokohama's sushi, then you're missing out on life.
