One word: TERRIBLE.: Not only was the service poor, but so was the food. And it was only $150.00 for the four of us, both couples splitting an entre. Also, they refused to honor my passbook discount based on a technicality. For fondue, go to Simply Fondue, it's way less expensive and the food and service is so much more enjoyable.
I went here for my birthday. A good friend had recommended it to me - she'd been there twice before for her birthday. We had the cheese fondue (pretty good), a strawberry almond salad (delicious, but not enough strawberries), a sampler feast platter (good, but the aftertaste stayed with me), and the zin zang chocolate fondue with grand marnais (DELICIOUS!!!). We also had a very good 30 year tawny port and a bottle of wine we selected from their extensive wine list). We'll definitely go back. The whole event last about 3 hours.
I was a bit surprised by how delighted I was with this place. I found the cuisine to be deciously flavorful with an extraordinary appeal. A bit pricy, but if you're looking for a unique atmosphere to impress a first (or second) date, I certainly suggest the Melting Pot.
This is a vey nice resturant. We, as in my three sisters and myself, went here as a birthday dinner for my oldest sister. This place is a fine place to go for that special occasion and good food. Its fondue style so its a unique place to dine as well. Takes a while to actually eat but its well worth your time.
Very disappointing. Too expensive for what you get. Cheese fondue is mediocre, the so called Swiss traditional is made with Wisconsin cheeses which is ok, but then the price should be a lot lower. The sauces offered with the meat fondue are a waste of time. A shame really. Our particular waiter was very arrogant.
