It was not what I expected...if you know and love reggae...find another place. They play slackness and no culture. It`s for people that don`t know much about reggae e.g the reggaeton, elephant man, sean paul and the whole willy bounce dirty wind kinda people......Try Houston reggae clubs
This place has an excellent menu of island foods. Very VERY GOOD!! 100% SATISFACTION, we are going today. I may have the jerk and curry chicken. They fill you up for a very low price and great tasting foods. Whoo hoo!!
My friend and I had alot of fun our first night going to the Caribbean Grill. The drinks were worth the money, however, We did not try the food. That is my next quest. I truley enjoyed the caribbean music it was a sweet change from the same old local music you hear over and over on the radio. I will visit again and recommend anyone to try the change
The food is absolutely delicious. You must have the beef patty and the jerk chicken. The shrimp is some of the freshest I have ever had. It looks a bit dank at first glance but go in sit down and believe me it is ok. THe night we were there, the band was a bit loud, but after they turned it down we had a GREAT time. We had a mixed age group ranging from 23 to 75. Everyone loved the food.
i love the music, its kind of funny because im not from the islands or anyting but i just have it in me the love to dance, and i love reggae music.
a couple of friends took me there and i was so impressed because i didnt think they had that kind of place here in dallas. But um... shoot it was great i was doing my lil sean paul moves i learned and i was just gettin it
and everybody thought i was from the island the way i was gettin um moves, anyway. my advise to you is if you love dancin to reggae music old or recent ones, go and get it on.
I LOVE THE MUSIC, THE PEOPLE, THE ATMOSPHERE, MET THE LOVE OF MY LIFE THERE. CAN'T SAY MUCH ABOUT THE FOOD, BUT HE LOVES IT.
RECOMMEND THE PLACE TO EVERYONE WHO WANTS TO RELAX WITH NO MAJOR DRAMA, JUST FUN HAPPY, SOMETIMES A LITTLE TOO TIPSY PEOPLE, LOL!!!
The atmosphere was great; there was no drama, a mix of young and older people, couples, singles and everything else. It's a little hole in the wall but with enough room to dance comfortably. They've got a couple tables if you want to shoot pool, there are a few guys who play bones (dominoes) and the music is just what you wanna hear. Dancehall, reggae, soca AND some hip-hop. On top of it all, it was very easy on the pockets. The only thing is that Friday nights seem to be the only time you find it that live. So needless to say it'll continue to be my Friday night haven.
