Description

No other phrase describes a place like Houston's other than 'a great night out'. Count on a great meal and great service every time. The dark, club-like atmosphere features both traditional tables as well as booths with candlelight illuminating the dining area and just enough natural light filtering through the windows to create an inviting ambiance. The grilled chicken salad with peanut sauce is a local favorite, but a good old-fashioned hamburger gourmet style is always a classic. Well-prepared fish and pasta dishes are fantastic selections and come your choice of baked potato or soup. Be sure to finish with a five-nut brownie a la mode!

lol...lol..This place is a joke. Yes the crab cakes aren't good either. Our waiter said she was from colorado..she needs to go back...Straws were in other people's drinks, but somehow ours would come up missing or we'd had to open them ouselves. Overpriced. TRUST ME....YOU ARE A FOOL IF YOU CONTINUE TO GO HERE. DO NOT DO IT.

i went to houstons and was very dissappointed! it was nicely decorated that is certain. other than that i have very few positive things to say. the dip was mediocre at best yeah you heard me. the salsa with it is pace from a jar come on! ask your server. and what is the pupose of it with the dip? anyway the bar area was nice! and the service was wonderful. the beer i had was right on point with price, BUT... the crab cakes were a joke and a crime all the way around. 32 dollars?! i am not cheap and i know food very well being a chef, but these things clearly showed that no one cares about the food. they would have tasted it before it got made. i blame poor leadership and a complete lack of guidance and knowledge by whomever is in charge. no i will never return to this place. it is quite sad to me that people just eat this kind of food up and think that it is good! i have been in dallas for almost 2 years and it deeply saddens me that corparate place can get away with the rape of cuisine and the theft of hard working peoples money. certainly there is other places that deserve the money and the business.

This place is great! Expensive but so nice. Their ribs are 27 bucks but they are worth it OMG fall off the bone good. Their salads are good too. So are their porkchops which are 24 bucks. Their spinich dip app is i think 12 bucks and very small but SOOO good and you get hot sauce and sour cream with it. Drinks were average price and good. We only go here on special occasions due to the price and the wait. On here it says 10-20 bucks per person. WRONG. very much more expensive. very good though. do not wear hats or have saggin pants. they will tell you to pullthem up and take your hat off. also you are not allowed to use your phone in the dining room.

Me and my bf went to Houstons for the first time and it was ok..the menu was pretty plain but the atmosphere and service were great! The bar was full of pple and we had to wait outside, its not an everyday place at all but it was a good experience, at least my salad was good,he ordered a burger.

Houstons is horrible. They have nothing to choose from, do not bring you bread, no service and you have to wait an hour(outside) to get a seat. Never will I go back there.

Looking foward to going back!!!: There nothing to dislike about this place. Me & a gentlemen friend dined out at Houston's last month and there service, food & atmosphere was excellent very good place for romantic dining to group dining or afterwork dinner or drinks or both. Candlelight illuminates the dining area and just enough natural light filters through the windows to create an inviting ambiance ...Drinks I recommend is there French Martini's excellent as well being my favorite martini is apple until I had there french.....One of the restaurants you definetly should check out

I try others but my heart always cries out for Houston's!! This is one of the only places where even the wait (you will encounter on weekends as there are no reservations) is enjoyable. The atmosphere is cozy and warm, the wait staff top of the line and professional, the food to die for!! Try the spinach dip and chicken fingers while you wait, I promise you won't be disappointed. Crab cakes and burgers are awesome dinner choices!! My husband and I like to try different restaurants for date night but this remains a top 5 favorite for us both!!
