I've been going here since the late 90s. It's located in a vacated strip mall that used to have a grocery store and dollar store. You walk in and it is a plain concrete floor, nothing fancy. Around the corner, A huge enclosed arcade in the front area. A jukebox sits in plain view, playing an occasional song. The place has ample seating and you will never have to wait long to get a table. The decor is simple, with low lighting. No windows! Booths and tables everywhere. Before every meal, bean soup is served. They bring chips and empty bowls, the hot sauce is in a flask that you pour yourself, located on the table. The hot sauce is the main reason I'm a fan. I swear i detect a hint of cumin in it. Spicy and just hot enough. The menu is typical of a Mexican restaurant with many dinner combinations of enchilada's, tamales, taco's ect. Plenty of appetizers with Bean & Cheese Nacho's as my favorite. The entree's will come quick, so you won't have time to barely eat your chips/hot sauce before a steaming plate is set before you. I haven't varied much as i get the enchilada/taco/rice/& beans plate. The thing i like the most is that you don't have to keep asking the waiter to bring more hot sauce. There is normally plenty in that jug on the table. They do have a lunch menu served 11a-4pm. Once you are done, the waiter brings the check and you pay at the cashier station which has many candie's staring at you in the glass case. This is MY FAVORITE MEXICAN FOOD EVER! It's not a fancy place, just casual dining at reasonable prices. Normally dinner's are in the 8-9 dollar range. Plenty of food.
