The quality has gone down over the years. I take clients here a lot because they have heard of it and want to give it a try. Sometimes its great sometimes just so so. Cattlemens in Oklahoma City is far better and more consistent. I have to agree with a lot of people though, if you know what you are doing and choose good beef you can do just as good if not better at home. Meat selection is key!!!

Havent been here in a few years. But, this is by far the best steakhouse I have ever been to. It is very pricey but very worth it. The service is second to none. The food is the best there is. Oh and dont forget the cheesecake for desert.

Overpriced for the meat. I fix a better steak on my grill at home.

Ive eaten at many prime steakhouses and Pappas is the best. On our last visit we had a new server being trained. I must admit I'm disappointed at myself in not bringing to the attention of the manager the fact that a quality steakhouse shouldn't hire untrained staff to wait on costumers eating a$200 meal. We were appropriately dressed and were seated in the 'awkward' part of the near empty restaurant and were served by a ungainly tandem of waitresses. Very disappointing.

I once heard my friend talk about 'Papas Bros' around 635 and 35 and said that he had the best steaks in his life.Hmmmm..Eversince then i tried to figure out where this resturant was! But everytime i drive by 635 and 35 , i see so many resturants and i would get confused.Finally i spotted Papas Bros with a Cow molding next to it. For Christmas Eve, my husband and I decided to treat some of friends at Papas Bros.When we walked it, we received Fine dining reception and was seated to a very private booth.The ambience was very cozy , yet sophisticated.The place was packed with media people as the basketball players were dining there.The waiter who took care of us was so friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Since we were quite hungry we ordered Salad .My friend who is allergic to tomato, beans etc..told to waiter to eliminate these ingredients.My friend told me that he had never had such a wonderful salad as like he had at Papas Bros. We all tried to order different items from the menu.I ordered the Three PeppercornSteak($38.99) and my husband ordered the Prime New York Strip(price varies with oz).The peppercorn steak was quite big and had a lot of pepper in it.the New York trip was little smaller but it was awesome.Our friends ordered Lamb Chop($35.00) and Porterhouse($31.00) which was also very good. I guess any dish here would definitely be good and some like NYstrip, LambChop would be extremely good. We took easy on deserts as we planned to go somewhere else. I can also join with my friend and say that this place serves some of the best steaks in dallas.

We have eaten at almost all the diffent steakhouses in the DFW metroplex and Pappa's Bros. still remains our favorite! They Have the BEST steaks around, the service is impectable and the Lobster Bisque is to DIE FOR!!!!!!

We recently dined at this restaurant for a corporate dinner for 10. Our dinner consisted of wine, two lobster tail appetizers, entrees for everyone, three sides per three or four diners, desserts and coffee for almost everyone. It was one of the most delectable and flavorful dinners I've had in a long time. I recommend it for anyone to go for a special occasion. It is expensive dining. If you don't mind dropping around $150 - $200 for a meal for two, then this is your place.
