I visit The Lodge occasionally to see the dayshift bartender, Angel, but I usually don’t spend enough time there to justify writing a review. My last visit was an exception. This visit got off to a bad start. The dancer that I hoped to see (Venezuela) was not working. Although the DJ called out their names, two other dancers that I find fascinating (Shakira and Cody) did not appear on stage. I suppose that they were squirreled away in the VIP area with regular customers. I decided to stick around anyway and ended up having a great time. I tipped several dancers on stage and got enjoyable table dances from two them (Ireland and Erin). The dancers were all in the 8-10 range. One Australian lady (I missed her name) gets a bonus point for her accent putting her at 11. The food and service were great. The food is actually one of the reasons I prefer The Lodge to other gentleman’s clubs. In addition to the usual steaks, the menu includes several salads, sandwiches, and lighter meals. The downsides on this visit was that none of the dancers selected Latin music, I spent too much money ($426 mainly in tips), I gained 2 pounds in body weight that I’ll have to work off this week, and I stayed too long which disturbed my normal sleep cycle. I have to give the club 5 stars even though I missed seeing my favorite dancers.
It should be noted that this club has different personalities on the day and night shifts. The day shift has a relaxed, mellow atmosphere. At night, they turn up the volume and intensity. As I noted earlier, the most popular dancers are often able to drop out of the rotation. Hence, sometimes the quality of the entertainment may seem spotty.
