Favorite Seafood restaurant. The redfish is amazing buth in presentation and taste. Another great choice is the Salmon on a plank. yummy.... You can t go wrong with any of their sauces. Lather it on and you ll leave a happy camper.
I was in Dallas for a week and someone told me about Pappeaux. The food was unbelieveable. I have been to a lot of seafood resturants and nothing could compare. I went several times had appertizers and meals more food than I could eat. We left full and satisfied the food was well seasoned. I wished they had one in the DC metro area.
OH MY GOODNESS....IF THR WAS A FAVORITE WISH OF A GROWN MAN IS TO LIVE NEXT DOOR TO PAPPADEAUX!!!!!!!THE FRIED ALLIGATOR,OYSTERS,SHRIMP AND FISH PLATTER WITH THE GUMBO ON THE SIDE....IVE DID AND GONE TO HAVEN! KEEP IT COMING..THERE NEEDS TO BE MORE LOCATIONS....
Excellent!!!!! The service was great, the staff was wonderful and on top of things. The food was excellent!!!! It was by far the best experience of creole style seafood. I also recommend the top shelf margaria! And oysters for you oyster lovers.
the service was excellent.
food was excellent and will return just as soon as I can get back to tx.The server was great with lots of stories. and good selection of food. Anyone from the south would really enjoy this place and anything on it... It was cooked just like I would and enough for a doggie bag.
If you want a quality seafood dining experience that satisfies all of the senses, this is just about the only 'chain' kind of restaurant I give my thumbs up to. Well-executed dishes, well-executed service, and well-executed ambiance at just-as-well derived prices make this a 'gotta try' kind of place in my book. If I can add any kind of negative, it would be that Pappadeaux comes off as a little bit too franchised at times. I like to feel as if my food isn't being put together by a how-to laminated cook's manual, making it taste exactly like everyone else's, and at times, it has, even though it tasted great. It simply would have tasted better if I could have felt the cook's soul on my plate a little more. Still, damned good food, and a damned good restaurant!
Everything that came to the table was great. From the gumbo to the catfish. Even the bread they put out on the table is awesome. I had the Mardi Gras Pasta. tasty to say the least. You really must go.
Only problem we had was getting our party of 9 a table. But the taste of the food and the atmosphere far outweighted the wait.
For big partys call 24 hours in advance for seating.
