Cafe' Brazil, Dallas

I lived in Dallas in the mid 90's, Cafe Brazil is the first place I ate at and absolutely loved it.. The crepes are to die for as well as the rosemary potatoes. I wish we had something like it here in Arizona. Not gonna happen, If you are in Dallas take the time and go, it is a experience everyone should have.

WHILE IT MAY BE A GREAT PLACE YOU FORGOT ONE VERY IMPORTANT THING THAT MAKE A MATTER IF SOME PEOPLE WANT TO GO THERE TO EAT. THAT FACTOR BEING IT'S SMACK DAB IN THE MIDDLE OF THE GAY COMMUNITY. A LOT OF GOOD PLACES ARE IN THAT SITUATION. IT IS NOT A BAD SECTION OF TOWN BUT IT DOES ATTRACKT A LARGE AMOUNT OF LOW LIFE PEOPLE MOVING IN THERE AND CAUSING PROBLEMS. IF THAT DOES NOY BOTHER YOU GO FOR IT!

this place is a tradition amongst dallas night owls & has been so for over a decade. the coffee selections, the build your own omlettes, the staff, the hot sauces... somehow the combination remedies future potential hangovers and any kind of craving. you name it, they have it & if they don't: get over it. this is the most hilarious people watching place u can go to if you want some serious entertainment after 2am any night of the week. best show on earth & with the endless cup of joe: u will wonder why u would ever want eggs anywhere else!

The only time I've tipped less than 20% has been here. This is the only review I've ever written. This place is great if you; have 2 hours, think you are too artsy for starbucks, like low-quality food, and have no expectations for service. All the people that like this place should keep eating there, they will eventually die waiting in their chair, or from overseasoning. Just because it's trying to be trendy doens't make it trendy. Get it together America; save your life and go to Denny's, I'll trade a full set of teeth for good service any day of the week.

I agree that this is a great late night spot, but they have it listed as the best sandwich place in Dallas? You have got to be kidding!! I've yet to see a listing under Dallas that actually is the best of whatever genre they are showcasing. Just have to wonder where they get the info.

Cafe` Brazil, a great escape from your everyday starbucks. Prices are decent too. Their entree` was pretty unique I must admit, I mean who has heard of fried ice cream? Anyone will be skeptical at first, but I'm glad I tried it. Was my first time but certainly not my last. A very cozy coffee shop.

Their breakfasts are good, they're not great though. The quality of their lunches has really gone down hill though. They changed the recipe for a lot of things on their menu and it seems like the quality just isn't there like it used to be

And I don't even LIKE french toast, but I can eat Cafe Brazil's french toast until the cows come home. Their food is outstanding. Love it, love it, love it! I used to eat at Cafe Brazil over 10 years ago, glad to see it's still in business.....as it should be. It has the best eats in town.

Excellent value for the money! Cross your fingers and hope they have Snickerdoodle coffee at the bar. Great dishes are the Super Quesadillas (with a side of rosemary potatoes), 3-Cheese Omelette with Cheddar, Jack and Feta cheese, the Smoked Turkey Crepes and the Carrot Cake. Oh, don't forget to order double or triple Spicy Cream Sauce with your crepes - this stuff is so addictive you'd swear they put crack in it!
