Bob's Steak & Chop House - Dallas on Lemmon Avenue, Dallas

Very Very good food. I had the 22oz T-Bone steak with carrot and sautéed potatoes. The steak was very very good. One of the best I ave ever had. The potatoes were also excellent as was the giant delicious carrot!!! This place beats the snot out of Ruth's Chris and Capital Grill!!! Service was also excellent. I definitely recommend a visit to Bob's Steak house!!! Very Very good!!!

My fiancee's father came into town from California; he wanted a nice steak dinner so we took him to Bob's. She and I had been there 2-3 times in the past and have always received very good service. However, this time the waitress was absolutely horrible; while not overtly rude, she was completely inattentive, uncaring and virtually uncommunicative. Whenever she brought something to the table she simply dropped it and sped off without even talking to any of us. We speculated that it was because we had our 5-y/o daughter with us; she may have thought that would have reduced her ability to wait her other tables or that she wasn't going to get as big a tip from a table with 3 adults and a small child. Fortunately, her crappy attitude and poor service made that part of the equation easy to figure out. We haven't been back in nearly 2 years as a result.

Probably the most famous steak house in the Dallas area. With so many great steakhouses in Dallas, I am not sure it is the best, but it is definitely one of the best.

Well we went to the Bob's Grapevine location and our food was fairly decent, but our waiter Jay F. was horrible. He brought my to-go box in styrofoam wrapped in saran wrap and walked off. I had to ask another waiter to place my food in a bag. Then when my waiter came back to the table he looked like a deer caught in headlights when he saw that my food was placed in a bag. Then I overhear him discussing the amount of my bill. He only got 15% gratuity and really only deserved 5%- if that. I'm sure Bob's prides itself on being a top-rated restaurant, but I will NEVER dine at the Grapevine location!

Bob's is always great. We come back time and again for the steak. Always prime and always perfect. We love sitting at the bar to watch a great game and enjoy a fabulous meal!

This place use to be GREAT? what happened? Did they change management? My last 3 visits were horrible! No more for me!

Excellent service, Beatiful steak and so tender. Almost everything about Bob's is perfect, but you can please everyone. My only complaint about Bob's is with their table fodder so to speak. The is a jar on the table filled with red peppers and cucumbers, I say cucumbers because they are not quite pickles yet, which are very salty. Then they serve you thier bread which has a VERY hard crust. You cannot cut thier bread you have man handle it apart. Once you have a portion you try to butter it with hard butter. Then once you stick it in your mouth you will scrape the inside of your mouth with its hard crust. Oh yeah and for those on a budget this is not the place for you we had 4 meals only 3 drinks and our bill was $200. All in all I would go back to Bob's again beasue the MEAl was 100% perfect and the beef is O so good.

I have not eaten here, but here it is awesome. Maybe I will get there some day soon!
