Sweet Georgia Brown Bar-B-Que, Dallas

I like the food here in terms of taste, but this is some of the most unhealthy food in the city and I am not a big fan of the environment either.

This place has been in this location for a very long time and i read all the reviews and it looks like it was done by people who eat there everyday. Let me tell you the real storey it is in the worst place in Dallas and its not really what would be called a bar-b-que place. just cheep hood rat food. neck bone,greese food. The best bar-b-que in dallas is Suger babys off 35-regal row. It is the best bar none. Plus its clean and the food is fresh and you don't have to worry about getting robed. I eat all over dallas everday and sweet georgia browns is just a hood rat hole. but the soul food there is 1-10 it would be a 5

Nothing good comes from Dallas. Real bbq comes from big cities like Houston.

This is a place that is highly recommended. The food is out of this world. Although the building is not the best and has been around for a while, being it use to be an old Burger King. The food is great. I wish the own could expand or move into a larger building so you wouldnt have to stand in line outside (thats how good the food is) and wait to order.

Driving 50 minutes to church from Keller, TX doesn't seem so bad when we decide to eat at SGB. The people are always sweet, and on Sundays gospel music videos are playing too. I love the turkey and dressing, mac. and cheese, broc. cheese, cornbread and the peach cobbler with ice cream. I can eat off my place three times and share with my daughter. My husband loves everything, I eat off his plate. That BBQ is annointed. Amazingly, in a home where we never have left overs...ever. Even My 6'2 260 pound husband can't eat all of his food. We have two small kids, so we never have to stand in line, one of the two cute teen sisters with the afro puffs will takes our order as we sit. It is truly the best soul fool ever. Nasty bathrooms! I enjoyed the food but when I seen the bathroom was a total stomach upset. I rarely eat at a place where the bathroom looks discussing. I would not eat there again.

Yall know I'm from the south and it's a family trait to cook better than any restaurant, but Sweet Georgia Brown I can admit is a restaurant that will make you slap YO-momma down! Mmm mm good chitlins, sweet potato pie, ham hocks and greens, hot water cornbread... WATCH YOU MOMMA!

SWB is not good and it is to grease and I like grease food. They have big portions but all the food tast the the same. YUG
