This mom-and-pop restaurant offers traditional Vietnamese foods catering mostly to the Vietnamese community. The decor is traditional Vietnamesesimple, clean and comfortable, creating a casual ambiance. The extensive menu includes Hot Pot, a steaming bowl of soup, noodles and vegetables, Frog Legs and French Bread Sandwiches. Try the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet for a variety of entree choices.
I love this restaurant! I've been eating here for years. It's just a tiny little hole in the wall with TVs on CNN while you have lunch. The buffet price is going up to $6.99 due to the increase in the price of food. But it's well worth the extra dollar.
I noticed this place a few weeks ago while on my way to another nearby restaurant. I tried their lunch buffet today and it was delicious. Typically I am not a big buffet fan, however, this is well worth trying. I will definately go back and even try dinner there sometime. The lunch buffet is only served Monday - Friday and it is currently $5.99.
Buffet items: Soup, fried rice, chicken, pork, desserts and much more. The egg rolls are the best!!
This food is AWESOME. I found this restaurant by accident on my way to another place. I only found it a month ago and on my way to eating there for dinner now. I could eat there every day. As everyone has said the service isn't the best but the quality of the food certainly outweights the service....if you're service-driven, get your food to go! LOL!
We have been to the restaurant about 5 times. They have good lunch buffets and the service is ok. However, we have found roaches running around on the table, the floors and even on the plates! The waiter told us that they had the place bug sprayed the day before. My advice to you is to eat at your own risk!
I Love Vietnames food and have eaten at most places in town. This is one of the best. I never get the buffet but it looks good. The #86 combo Pho is tops. The bun with pork and eggrolls is great also. Yo have to ask for service but they are polite. The new decor is very clean.
When in the east Dallas and craving Vietnamese food, you have to stop by and try their rice vermicelli dishes, and also their grilled beef and rice platters. Their Pho noodle soup is pretty good and you can even get an extra large bowl if you're really hungry. The service isn't the best but the food is what people come here for.
The food is WONDERFUL! Like most Vietnamese restaurants the service isn't phenomenal but it doesn't matter. That's how great this stuff is! I VERY highly recommend it. I'm there at least once a week! :)
Not typically a restaurant that I'd search out on my own, but once introduced to it by a friend I'm addicted. The tofu and vegetable dishes are crazy good (I did not try to meat, but it looked good, too). And don't get me started on their potatoes - amazing!
The buffet is only during the weekdays and is a deal under $10. I'm told that ordering off the menu provides much tasty goodness, too. My recommendation is to get a gaggle of friends and try it out one day for lunch. You won't be sorry. (But carpool 'cause parking can be tricky - and besides, it just good to do.)
