Simply Fondue, Dallas

Went with a group of 4 on Sun 9/26, 2 been many times and 2 only our second time. Salad was great. Roasting marchmallows was fun. The appetisers were good. Dinner good - though we thought our items were not exactly what we ordered. Dessert was chocolate - hey, how can that be anything but deliciou!! Our waitress didn't explain really anything so had we not been with 2 experienced fonduers, we'd have been lost. Didn't really know about the dipping sauces, again no real explaination other than naming them quickly. And there was no reason for her to rush as there were only like 3 groups in the whole place. I think the wait staff could have been much more attentive. Our burners were not acting right so that was a slight issue though we didn't complain. Maybe our waitress was new, who knows. But it was fun and I will go back for sure. If they want return business, they need to pay more attention to their customers. It's a long drive from the Mid Cities - there are closer places.

My best friend took me there for dinner or should I say tried to. It was like something out of a horror movie!!! We were sat at a table and the waiter came by, took our drink order, that is when it began. I was sitting there and felt something brush on my hand, looked down and there IT was a huge ROACH. I almost let out a scream!! We told the waiter and all he said is yeah, it happens some times. Needless to say we left and haven't been back since, no apology, nothing. I was very disapointed in how that was handled and assure you I'll drive all the way to Addison when I want Fondue.

I went to this place last weekend after my friends had been raving about it for the past few years. I had been to another fondue chain called The Melting Pot and honestly didn't think it was very good, but thought I would give this place a shot at the advice of my friends. I have to admit, I was blown away at how good this place was. The food was delicious and fresh, just the opposite of my previous experience with fondue. The server, Ben, was great. The place was packed, really fun, and had a really good vibe. We had the Mediteranean cheese fondue which was an instant favorite and the spinach strawberry salad was literally the best salad I have ever had. All the meats on the entree were displayed really nice and fresh. The chocolate fondue desert was the best. They have so many more delicious ones to choose from than the other place and they even gave free refills on the chocolate and dippers. We had the banana's foster and it was pure heaven. I'll definitely be back and definitely recommend it to everyone I know.

We loved this place until a cockroach danced across our table....the waiter seemed nonplussed, and didn't so much as offer to kill the thing, let alone comp our drinks. When a few minutes later a second cockroach ran past us, we got the manager's attention. He comped our meals, but by that point the thrill was definitely gone. Too bad, really. It's a fun concept and the food was decent...well at least until we lost our appetites.

Enjoyable: This is a fun place to go and have a good time. I love all of their sauces. Great service and location.

This was our 2nd visit. The 1st time was horrible....our server smelled of liquor..he had the greas way to hot so it popped all over us & the food quality was not good. I wrote a letter & they responded quickly & rectified their problems. We just went again tonight & everything was great....our waiter was awesome.the food was fresh & we were happy!

8 of us went there for a bachlorette party. They had lost our reservations, but after waiting about an hour they finally found us a table. Our server was very nice, but also too busy. The food and presentation are unique, but it took so long to get seated, then served, that we weren't able to get our dessert. We paid 450.00 for a package deal that included 4 full meals ( including dessert) and a bouqet of ballons that cost 35.00... It was good but way too expensive for what we got.
