this is the best deal in Dallas. The food is superb, from filet mignon to salmon filets, new fresh entrees nightly; the service is perfect: friendly & knowledgeable. the atmosphere is relaxed and intimate at the same time. The wine pairing dinners with 6 courses at $70 per person cannot be beat. This is a gem that has been around for years. if you love wonderful food you will love Watel's

Watel's is a French Bistro located in an old house in the uptown area, on Allen St. near McKinney.
It is not Italian as indicated in your overview.
I had the Mussels with french fries and they were excellent.
The Greysac wine was exquisite as was the chocolate truffle dessert.
