MI Cocina Restaurant, Dallas

Mi Cocina is absolutly amazing!! I love their Tortilla soup! Luna de Noche claims they have the best soup ever...i think they're wrong. Mmmmm the Mambo Taxis!! El Fenix?? eeckkk! I give Mi Cocina 10 nacho chips + guacamole. =)

This is an alright place, but if you really want Mexican food in Dallas, El Fenix is the only place to go. Seriously, it is a Dallas staple, and part of the reason I had to move back home. Start with Chile con queso, then please try the Cheese Enchiladas. They are like nothing else on earth. If you are feeling like it, I also recommend the Sour Cream Chicken Enchiladas. You will not be sad about your decision, and these Mexican food staples are unlike any place you have ever had them!! Viva Chile Con Carne!!

Mi Cocina is simply the best combination of atmosphere, bar and food!

Loved the food...very tasty and just the right temp...service was above board...had a blast trying to understand the waiter...gave a little back to him, if you know hat I mean! Will def be back...

Go to Taco Diner instead! The menu there is much more creative and cheaper! Mi Cocina looks like a really cool place, but it really is just plain ol mexican food (and not the best) at a really fancy shmancy price! The service at Mi Cocina (and taco diner) is always wonderful!!! No complaints there at all.

I work in the downtown area of Fort Worth so I often frequent the Mi Cocina's in Sundance Square. Although I have eaten here many times and the food and service have be good it has never been outstanding. For the price you pay for Taxi Mambo and some Tacos al Carbon you would expect the service to be much more but it is always mediocre. The service can be slow at times which is kind of annoying if you only have an hour lunch break. The last three times that I have visted this location the service has been absolutely dreadful. Our food was cold and the server started clearing away our plates before we had even eaten half of our meal. That being said I probably won't be going back to Mi cocina's anytime soon.
