Transformed from an old gun shop in the heart of Deep Ellum, contemporary furnishings and modern art are stimulating contrasts to the traditional cuisine. This sushi bar and Japanese restaurant offers live music from local favorites on Friday nights, while patrons enjoy continental favorites, including classic seafood and vegetable rolls, shrimp tempura, sushi rolls, soba noodles, beef or chicken teriyaki, and sashimi. Call ahead for hours.
Now true that we didn't dine on a busy weekend night but, on a slow wednesday evening my mother my three month old daughter and myself enjoy some of the best sushi and service we've ever had! The waitress even with as far as to ask me if she could hold my baby! It was raining and the manager (I'm assuming) helped us out to our car. All in all the food as really amazing and fresh the drinks were great and we will be back!
I've been in Japan, I was in Japan for two years and I would eat sushi alot mabye three to four days out of the week. I haven't had sushi that good anywhere else besides the time I went to Deep Sushi. I love this place. If you love sushi come to Deep Sushi I guarantee you you'll leave satisfied.!!!!!!
This is the best sushi that we have ever had. We have had sushi from several places in the DFW area and in California. Deep Sushi is BY FAR the best that we have EVER had!!! Don't bother going anywhere else!! YUMMY!
This certainly isnt a nightmare on elm street, more like a dream. I never had enough money to go to japan, so its cool to have a peice if it here in dallas. its a bit pricey but hey, which sushi bar isn't?
Suki Deep Sushi!!!!
(i love deep sushi)
Been to better sushi joints in Addison and Plano. This one has a trendier crowd so therefore you have to over pay. I don't think the chefs were Japanese but they were from Hong Kong. Not that it matters. When I was there, they were in a bad mood and started arguing with each other.
I went eat with my brother and a friend and the bill comes out around $110..you can go find a better sushi restaurant and cheaper to pay$110 to feed 5 ppl... They are over charge on the sushi. You can eat takiaki Beef at the other sushi restaurant for $6.95 instead you paying $13.00 for 8 slices.. So think about it, you paying double here....If the ppl dont know how to eat sushi, you are paying too much... As a customer I wont go back to Deep sushi... Never, ever
This used to be a real nice neighborhood sushi place. But something has changed. It seems like it changed ownership or management. My wife and I used to go here all the time, but last visit was not good. So we will avoid it for a while and go back to see if it gets good again. Maybe we just had an off night... I do hope it comes back!
