Now guided by Executive Chef Jason Weaver, whose resume includes the posh Mandarin Oriental New York and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, The French Room is an execeptional dining experience by any standard.

One of the best dining experiences we've ever had. my wife and I joined her cousin and his wife there for dinner during a recent convention. we had a choice of a 3 course or 5 course dinner. the scallop appetizer was superb, the halibut with beet risotto was excellent and desert was flourless chocolate cake.... MWAH. My wife had smoke salmon appetizer with beef tenderloin entree and chocolate souffle....

A great dining experience for any occasion.

From the minute you walk in the door until the valet returns your car, you are treated like a very important friend. Although this is very formal dining (for Dallas), the staff does everything it can to put you at ease, make you fell welcome, and to make you feel special. Then the food starts coming and you understand why they are always rated the best restaurant and dinning experience in Dallas. It is well worth the cost.

Because it was a Wednesday

There's absolutely nothing to dislike about this restaurant...the room, something that could be taken straight from Versailles but cleaner, the service, impecable to the extent that if you excuse yourself to use the facilities, your napkin will be folded and waiting for you on your arm chair when you return, the food, simply a melange of flavours that always complement each other to the extent that you'd never want to eat anywhere else, so we don't. Being the most frequented guest in the history of the French Room, I enjoy dining there at least twice a week because I've never seen an entire staff pay such close attention to every last detail whenever I go. I'd suggest that everyone at least try it once. Tony P

It exceeds it's 5 star rating!!!
By ,
My business partner and I went there last night, it was totally excellent on all levels, food, presentation, ambiance, service!!! The bill was $199.00 for the two of us, ordered ala-cart, with pre-dinner drinks. We have both traveled extensively and will surely make a point to return to this fine restaurant, there are only 2 other restaurants in the world that we make a point of going back to, this will make the third. We are also in the restaurant business and my business partner is the chef, he was impressed which is hard to do. Go, enjoy, have a nice evening, relax.

Amazing Dining

One of the best dining experiences. The ambience, the food, the wine, the waitstaff, the hotel, everything is perfect and you are made to feel like a movie star. It is pricey, but well worth the money for that special occasion.

Formidable

This is definition of a perfect dining experience, the mood, the food, the service, everything was perfect, we really enjoyed it, The restaurant is very quiet, located in the Adolfus Hotel, this is a very nice atmosphere, you are first greated with a very nice decorum in the hall of the Lobby, nice painting, comfy, classy, very quiet. The restaurant itself is very nice, no loud people, the only thing you can hear is the noice made by the silver and people whispering or it seems like it. The decor is classic (in a good way), proper to a high end restaurant, sobre but pleasant to the eyes, no exuberance that could distract you from your plate. The lights are perfectly suited to the cozy mood, enought and not too much, perfect. The service itself is great and was up to our expectation, pampering and high quality, the personnel is very knowledgable of the different courses served in the restaurant. The menus is very attractive and the food was delicious. Each dish that was served to us was a symphony of flavors and texture, The dishes were sophisticated without being too complicated, each flavors complimenting the other. Each plate was a compliment to perfection. The wine list is wonderful and have a wide range of wine and prices, this was great and provided us with a good choice of quality wines that were fitting in our budget. The somelier was very helpful and very professionel. This was a great dinning experience, it is expensive but the price is well justified, and it is calling for a trip back ( as soon as I rebuild my savings...) Wonderful experience
