Worst dining experience ever! We will never go back. We always heard what a great restaurant this was so decided to finally try it. The service was horrendous and neglectful. The waiter came to our table so seldom that we had to grab whoever came by and beg for water, food and our bill. We ate our entire meal without anything to drink. The food on top of that was not what we ordered and the steaks were over cooked. The lobster was almost too tough to eat. What ever you do do not get the tall bald guy with a mustache as your waiter. When we told management how bad it was they could care less too. The did not even attempt to apologize. We were not the only table getting this horrible service either. You are better off eating at home.
Very elegant ambiance. Food was great. We had Chilean sea bass and red snapper. Lobster bisque was on point. Nice dining experience. Especially loved the pianist and violinist. The violinist does special request and comes around to play at each table. How romantic. I felt I was somewhere besides Dallas..ha! Ha! A girl can dream can t she?
The Old War Saw was a nice, quiet, elegant restaurant. It was a perfect setting to take my mother out to eat to show her my appreciation for everything she has done. We started off with the escargot which was served with the most delicious garlic sauce. After the wonderful escargot we had a delightful Caesar salad while we waited for our main entree. During this time the waiter would come and check on us from time to time giving us excellent service. After the salad, came the grilled prime chateaubriand, cooked to perfection, it was definitely one of the best piece of meat me and my mom have ever sunk our teeth into (a must get). Once we were done with our main entree, we debated on getting desert so as the waiter suggested we get the grand marnier soufflé, we did, man was it great! it was as rich as could be and it didn t have a grainy texture which made it just perfect. Overall I gave it a 5 star rating because from when I walked through the door the service was very attentive and the food was just amazing. If ever in the area The Old Warsaw restaurant is a must-go.
I ve never had an experience like The Old Warsaw. From the moment we stepped through the doors of the restaurant we felt like royalty -- everyone greeted us, everyone came back to our booth to talk with us, and Chef Al personally came to introduce the 4 savory courses we were served.
Everything about this restaurant is simply of the most elegance and of highest quality; The food is astonishing, the atmosphere fine, and the service is flawless. There are few restaurants that come close to the level that Old Warsaw has achieved
My Wife and I made a reservation to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We were taken to a large table by the window. The meal was exceptional, beyond our expectations. The service was a cut above. Simply wonderful, would definitely return.
Our 4th visit, and the food, wine list, service, and atmosphere are simply superb, as usual. We had called ahead to request a booth, which they kindly provided. The wine list is excellent, and the Sommelier is quite knowledgeable and helpful. The staff can only be described as superb: in a city of so many exceptional restaurants, this is easily among the top 3 or 4 from our experience. The atmosphere is perfect: relaxing, beautiful, and the pianist is a joy who happily plays your favorites.
The wine pair is a must, the food is very good... But what really make this restaurant something else is the service it provides. From the kindness of the manager to the politeness of the waiter, everything is great. The atmosphere is really quiet and romantic as
If someone does not give this restaurant 5/5 then they must have eaten somewhere else. Ambiance is amazing; the atmosphere in the dining room was top notch, especially with the Piano. The meal, well, words can’t explain it. Service was unreal. I could see why so many people propose there.
My family and I were on vacation during the Easter and we went to Old Warsaw for Easter dinner. This is definitely a must in Dallas. The food was great. Be sure to try the Clam Chowder Soup, Lobster Tail. We were too stuffed for dessert, but they looked amazing, excellent service and atmosphere.
