the food use be be awesome. I love the Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. The last time a ordered it was a month ago. It came with 2 shrimp on top. I was not happy. The salads that were ordered were just a small plate of lettuce with a piece of onion. If I order from there, I only order Rudy s seafood special. Even the shrimp on that is getting fewer and fewer. So my ordering from there is seldom anymore.
I don t know what it is but every time I try Italian food that is supposed to be great but turns out it is bland. Napoli s by far has the creamiest, thick fetuccine alfredo sauce, but it needs flavor. I have to add salt whenever I order it. The canneloni is to die for though, that is probably the best thing I have eaten here by far! The rolls are great too! Their chef s salads are AWESOME but we ask for extra ranch EVERY time and EVERY time they forget to bring the extra ranch they asked for. I have eaten the baked ziti dining in, but I make better baked ziti here at home. Again, it was bland and not very saucy. Pizza is usually good. Any delivery you get, expect 30-45 minutes. Also, don t expect them to have change for a $50- even if your order was $35 worth. They are really close with the authentic Italian in their recipes, but my Italian Aunt loves alot more flavor and gets bold with it- maybe that just makes me spoiled.
I can't speak about dine-in but as far as delivery...a couple of years ago the pizza was good. The last 2 times it was just so-so, and once when my daughter ordered delivery, she was grossly overcharged.
Note to Napoli's: your delivery people need to at least offer change to customers instead of assuming they can keep whatever bill you hand them. That's tacky.
I have had truly excellent pizza, and this is not. It is ok for bunch of kids, but not much else.
We eat there frequently. The people go above and beyond. They are attentive to refills, food is delicious. Prices are comparable or better than others in area. Clean environment. If you have one or twenty in your party, you get the same. Hope they stay forever.
Their pasta's are pretty good, but Pizza is bland. It's too expensive for what you get and when you order delivery, they always seem to forget something. I haven't ever stayed to eat so I don't know what the service in the restaurant is like.
Napoli's is one of the few places in the entire DFW area that really knows what a calzone is!! Their stuffed mushrooms are fantastic! When it comes right down to it what makes a great pasta and pizza is a great sauce, and Napoli's has that , for sure!! I highly recommend this great quality food and at such a reasonable price.
Cremona's is tucked away between the Uptown and Turtle Creek areas. It is a favorite spot for authentic Italian recipes.
