Visited Bubbas last night to enjoy their prime steaks. The food was unbelievably great and priced well below what you would expect to pay at a fancy steakhouse. You can choose your own steak from the refrigerated case or they will cut you one to suit your appetite. They had some very nice ribeyes in the case, but I chose to have one cut I would say my steak was an inch and a quarter thick and weighed approximately 18 oz. As mentioned above, this was prime meat and it costs me $28.95, which included a salad and a side (the salad was just ok...nothing fancy), but the steak was perfectly seasoned and cooked just as I ordered. Have never had the BBQ, but this was my 2nd Bubbas steak experience and both times I have been more than pleased. We will return and I highly recommend treating yourself to a Bubbas Steak!!
We just returned from the area as a first visit. We asked locals from Houston where to go for great brisket and they steered us to Bubba s. It is conveniently located off 45 and it is a trip back in time. If you are looking for a swanky place that looks modern, this is not the place BUT if you can appreciate great food at a reasonable price, this will be worth your time. No knife needed for the brisket or boneless pork. Every mouthful includes rich smoky flavor.Sauce is available on the side by the drinks. People are friendly, portions are large. Twelve bucks each got us a grand meal and I bought the last extra large shirt to boot!! Here in our home state of New Jersey, this cooking just doesn t exist!
My husband and I were traveling through and stopped in to the restaurant. The waitress was very friendly and helpful. And the food we ordered was great. Next time we are coming that way we will definitely stop again.
I dont know what all the rave it about. However, I have heard this place was very good and thats why I wenfresh ones. I will go back but my first experiance was NOT up to oar. t. But the night I went my steak was over cooked and chewy. There werent any red steaks in the fridge, they all had a brown color and we had to ask for fresh ones. I will go back, since my friend's think this is the best place in town.
