Ate dinner at Maxim's on 6/15/09. It was getting late, and we were looking for a place to eat. We could tell it's an authentic place because there were a couple of large Chinese families at big round tables eating and having a great time. So my small family and I ordered a few dishes from the menu, and they were great! I'm of Cantonese descent, and the food reminded me of old times. Service was good and cordial.
Only problem: we weren't asked about our smoking preference, and one of the men at the really large table was smoking. We weren't that close, but we could smell the smoke.
Next time we'll have to show up for dim sum earlier in the day. A co-worker recommended this restaurant for dim sum.
