I recently made a stop into Schmittys after seeing a ad for all you can eat pizza on Fridays. I get there and first of all the all you can eat buffet is only open at night, no lunch action. The place is deserted and it takes 10 minutes for the waitress to find me a menu and get me a drink. The entire place smells of smoke, not just the seperated bar section (the only place smoking is allowed). There is no ventilation at all. The menu left a lot to be desired. There were few choices and little variety. I went with the pizza since thats supposed to be the specialty. It was average at best and the price was nothing to write home about. I could have gone down the street to Romas and gotten a pizza that was twice as big for less than what I paid. Overall I think Schmittys isn't worth stopping for. The people that like it are probably the same ones that like shopping at Keys. I'd much rather stop and eat at the Pirates Cove, at least there the air is clean and you can see the lake from the windows.
This place is very cool. We like to go up there occasionally to hang out, play some pool, have some drinks, and eat some AWESOME pizza. I have never had any complaints about this place. Definitely a great place to hang out. Also, as another reviewer said before, the owner is almost always there and the service is great. Keep in mind that they are VERY laid back. It's almost like your friends are running the place. I definitely recommend it.
me and my husband loooooove schmittys. we made it a point to go every thursday to get belly burners. and the pizza is mighty tasty too.
it's nice to be able to go into a smaller place where the people there and the owner/workers actually know you. it has a great small town feel.
This place could be great for a small town, but for Little Elm it leaves much to be desired. The AC never seems to be working, the bathrooms are never clean, and the food ... well don't bother. I don't think this place has had a health permit check recently. I wouldn't waist your time.
Great food and interesting atmosphere. Walking into Schmittys in Little
Elm reminds you that you are in a small town. Wait staff is friendly and casual giving you a hometown feel. The pizza is so great that you tend to not mind when they screw up your order because it is part of the charm! Visit this hidden gen and you'll know what I mean (visit twice and your family!),
