Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, McKinney

fairly decent. okay staff. food is barely warm. sometimes the meatloaf stays there a bit too long but its good. great food, but they are inconsistant between visits.

This is the most horrible restaurant in McKinney!! The servers at the buffet (for the steaks) don't understand English! My husband and I went there about a year ago and it was terrible then...thought we'd give them another try about a month ago....it has gotten worse. The salad bar had nothing but limp old lettuce and the rest of the buffet??? the food was cold...we usually go around 11 or a little after......food should have been hot! the only good thing this place has.....the rolls.....

How this place stays in business, I'll never understand. The food is inedible.

Yesterday 3:30pm me and my husband first time use coupon to eat lunch at Golden corral, but the coupon only can save $0.50 per person.(because we have to purchase drinks to able to use coupon,usely me and my husband drink water). and also I am over 60 years old we try to use senior discount coupon for myself, my husband is 53 years he use other coupon, but the cashier won't let us do that, she was very rude and impatient.

SUCH A DEAL!!!!!!!!!! GRRRRRREAT food value for a verrrrrrrry low price!!! Fresh, wholesome, delicious food...large variety of dishes...clean environment that is unpretentious...friendly, courteous staff...I especially like the weekend breakfast buffet when I can have omelettes custom made to order for me while I watch. Food snobs can go other places and pay high prices, but I'll take the Golden Corral any ol' day!!!

We went to this location for Mother's Day lunch in mid-afternoon on a Sunday. The place was packed and was a bit untidy as a result. The buffet was pretty good overall, especially some of the grilled meats. Some of the vegetables were quite limp, others were very good though. The dessert bar was super, with lots of yummy selections. If you've been to other Golden Corrals, you know what to expect- this was as good as any I've been to as far as food. It's a good strategy to take small samples, then fill up on more of that if you like it. I recommend going there when the place is busy.

The food SUCKED!!!!! The service was bad,if you could find someone without getting in there way. Then when I came home to do a customer service survey it would not let me without my receipt.

I have been to many buffets at Golden Corral..this one was not good at all! We went for breakfast on a Sunday..the bar was practically empty!! The lady that was suppose to be making waffles was no t there..there were scraps of old pancakes in the bin..no fresh ones while we were there...there were no hashbrowns..the container was empty the whole time and so on...ha, choose the Waffle House or IHOP if you want a better meal.

I can't say I hate it but I can't say i love it but I do know one thing they do have excellent mac & cheese but overall I give it a B-.

The only manager there that can speak english is the nice female, Mary. The male managers are a waste of your money as they can't speak to the customers and display openely they are not interested in serving the customer. I have heard them yell at customers and employees more that once embarassing everyone. I learned never go on Mondays because apparently Mary is off that day. Maybe a surprise from top brass on Monday would open some eyes.
