Food was ok with spices and taste but they were far from fresh. The kebobs, the shrimp and the desets were rubbery and hard to eat. Clearly heated several times. This is a bad representation of Indian food.
Seating and decor is ok.
Overall: not recommended.
Pasand is a paradox. They have food that is different from other Indian restaurants. But at the same time they are not good all the time. I wish they would be more consistent. I wish they would stick to their core competencies, which I believe is Andra cooking.
This is not a good restaurant at all. Chana masala curry is so bad in taste and samber does not have authentic indian taste. Food is too oily.
One day I was in restaurant and music was too loud. I asked the manager to lower the volume but he declined my request. I came out of the restaurant.
This is one hyped restaurant in Dallas. I agree that the food used to be good in this place some time back. But, now this is one of the worst places to go for Indian food. And I am saying this taste and quality wise. Horrible!!
I have been to the restaurant twice.. once for the buffet and once on the weekend when it was order off of the menu only. I really loved the chicken biriyani (spelling?). ..... The waitstaff was attentive, but somewhat unhelpful in deciding what to order... all and all it was a good experience
