Yuk. I know we re in a recession, but can we get some veggies, PLEASE? We ordered sesame chicken, fried rice, lo mein, and egg rolls. The sesame chicken had a strong garlic after taste. The lo mein was STRICTLY brown noodles, nothing else. The fried rice was the same; no carrots, no peas, no veggies AT ALL! Just BROWN RICE. I love egg rolls. The egg rolls we ordered were not egg rolls. This was peppered cabbage in a spring roll wrap, oozing grease. Again, no other vegetables, JUST CABBAGE, loaded with pepper. Gross. Only one fortune cookie for a meal large enough for 2. Will try somewhere else next time. What a waste of money.
Great place have been getting take out from them for over two years always comes hot and they always get the order correct. Ive tried all the other chinese resturants here in frisco and I have to say Hong Kong express is the best.
We've been ordering take-out or delivery food from here for 5 years. ALWAYS very good, consistent and quick service. The Little Elm location is a little better than the Frisco one, but both are very good for the money. I'm shocked that with the large Asian population of the Plano/Frisco area there isn't more and better options, but this one is certainly good value.
I think the flaming reviews must be from some of the REALLY poor Chinese places in the area (Rice Box).
The word express should not be in the title of this restaurant. The first time we ordered from there they told us it would be 15 minutes for pick up which turned into an hour standing in the restaurant repeating the order three times while they cooked it when it had already been given by phone. We figured we give it another chance and ordered delivery. It was supposed to be delivered in 45 minutes and ended up taking over 2 hours and was ice cold with no apology from the staff. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT! The food is sub par and the service is the worst in Frisco.
