My husband and I visited the Frisco Dave and Busters this past weekend. This was our first visit to a Dave & Busters and it will be our LAST! The food was ok, but when we went downstiars to play there were so may kids there. We chose Dave & Busters because we thought they had restrictions on the number of kids each adult could bring and that any kids there had to be supervised by their parents. We were WRONG! It was worse than going to Chuck E. Cheese! And the prizes that was a huge hint that they don't adhere to the age rules - most of the prizes were geared to young children. Big waste of money.
Very underrated, but excellent food if you eat up in the restaurant, not where the games are. I highly recommend the chicken parm sandwiches ( you dip them in the marinara sauce) and also their pasta dinners.
My three (sometimes four) roommates and I used to live right across the street from Stonebriar and became well acquainted with the Dave&Busters. The great thing is that it is located in a decent mall. You can definitely make a day of shopping and people watching all throughout the area... you can even see a movie in the pretty comfy AMC theatre. We loved going to D&B because of the bar. They have happy hour from 5-7 and then late night from 9-11. It was one of the best ways to unwind after work. The service can suck on the weekends or whenever there is a game, but the activity distracts from it. You can have a quiet dinner in the dining area, chill with friends in the pool/golf area, be loud at the bar, or act like a kid downstairs in the arcade. Every basic type of entertainment can be found in one great place with reasonable prices. I recommend D&B to anyone looking to just have fun. (Unfortunately, Frisco last call is at midnight on Friday and 1 a.m. on Saturday... but that leaves time to venture elsewhere to finish off the night.)
