The short of it: A pleasant experience of great food and service.
We were at the Children's Museum until closing time and with an hour's drive ahead of us we decided to stop somewhere to eat, what a good decision. When we came there was only a handful of people but when we left it was packed, not bad for a Tuesday night! Even as the number of diners increased the waitress was always checking on us. The food was great and was reasonably priced. The brisket had a distinct smokey flavor but not overpowering and the fish was cooked just right. They were always offering free fresh, hot rolls and delicious blueberry fritters. The place is hard to see from the highway, look for the Loves sign on the seminole exit. You will not be disappointed.
I have visited this nice family eatery several times. It is a quaint clean restaurant that specializes in catfish. The wait staff is friendly and service is good. I have eaten there at least a dozen times and never had a bad visit. Other items on the menu are also good, but the catfish is worth stopping for. It's a little hard to see from I-40 because it sits just south of the Loves station. If you are traveling through on vacation or just out in the area, you owe it to yourself to stop in. Ever wondered what the big deal is with catfish? This is the type of place that will make a catfish lover out of you.
