I have been to Bill's many times and never had a problme with the food or service. I don't know the family personally but what you(JayMo) stated you thouhgt you heard over the phone sounds bogus and if you knew anything about that part of Tulsa, you would have a hard time belieiving that they have stayed in business for so long with that kind of attitude. That part of Tulsa is vary diverse and the local businesses thrive from it. Can't wait to try and finish another Double Okie burger and have those awesome fries.
I went to Bill s on a referral. I was amazed at the size of the burgers!!! The fries are old fashion too! Once i got back to my destination I opened up the sack, looked inside and was upset. They made my order wrong. I was too far away to take it back on a lunch break, so now I m suck with food that I didn t order on lunch. I called to let them know and to see what could be done to fix the situation. The woman on the phone said well I m sorry...I don t know what you want me to do. I told her that I should have some sort of recourse and she said I m not giving you free food. I explained that I only wanted what I paid for. I asked to speak to the manager and she put the phone down. I could hear them talking and to my surprise I heard someone say, I think it s that NI@@ER that was in here earlier. I couldn t believe it! This is 2012. I would think that a business owner would only see green, and not black and white. I told him that I couldn t be back, and that I would share my story. Consider it shared. Just sad...
Hands Down ! the best burgers you'll find anywhere! Teresa, Tim, Sandy, along with Jennifer and Stephanie, the family has kept up the Bills tradition. Fresh meat that is brought in daily and made to order. Great fries and rings...haven't had their chile, but it looks good. Best to get there early, they open at 10:30am and when the meat is gone it's too late. Sometimes they have big orders from American Airlines, ect. where they might order 50 burgers and there is a long wait.(which they will tell you) so I have gone away empty handed a few times. I have learned to call ahead of time so I don't drive down there for nothing. Back to the burgers...they are the old fashioned greasy hambugers that are to die for. and you can get them up to a 2lb.er if your really hungry. They are all good christian people that it is a pleasure doing business with. I see these famous diner shows on cable, but the Best Burgers are right here in Tulsa, right here at Bills...promise us you'll be here for many years to come. Thanks....steve
Best Burger Anywhere! Sadly I've had to move from Tulsa and this is the one thing we long for as far as food. I haven't found anything that can touch these burgers. I've been going to Bill's for 32 years now! Wow I feel old...
This place doesn't look like much, but OMG!
Onions cooked in patties, cold fresh onions sprinkled on top.
If anyone just want a huge, delicious, greasy, old-fashioned burger then here it is.
They close at 3 pm.
