My husband and I visited this restaurant in search of tasty wings. We love Wing Stop, and we figured Wings to Go would be similar. We liked that they serve Coke products and offer many different sauces. Unfortunately, we found that this restaurant failed to meet our expectations in many categories.
Cleanliness: The restaurant's bathrooms were disgusting, littered with pubic hair. The condition of the eating area wasn't great, but not so bad as the bathrooms.
Prices: $8.39 per combo, which would have been great based on the portion sizes if the food had been worth eating.
Rules on flavoring: With 10 wings or 5 strips per meal, you'd expect to be able to order two sauces, not just one.
Portion sizes: In order to get a combo with fries, you have to order 10 wings or 5 strips, more than most people eat. With 5-6 wings and 3 strips per meal, the restaurant could reduce prices and provide a more sensibly portioned meal. I'd advise splitting a meal with a friend...just order an extra drink and you can both eat from one meal, making the price much more reasonable.
Food quality: THE WORST CHICKEN STRIPS I'VE EVER HAD. One of my five strips was crispy and tender. The other four were very tough and barely battered, which hardened the outer portions of the chicken, utterly inedible. If I'm going to eat a high-calorie, greasy meal, I expect it to be tasty. I was under the impression that my strips would be covered in sauce, but instead I was given a small cup of sauce that wouldn't cover two strips, much less five. The teriyaki sauce I ordered did not impress, nor did the cup of pre-packaged Blue Cheese dressing I ordered. The fries were pretty good, but nothing special.
Advertised products not available: Two of the six fountain beverage offerings were out (Diet Coke and one other product). In the time I was there, I heard at least 3 other people comment on the fact that the Diet Coke was missing, which suggests to me that it is a standard offering that many people expect to be able to have at a restaurant selling Coke products. I asked if I could get some Diet Coke from the fountain in the back, but was told they were completely out. Sounds like the location is not great at managing its resources if they can't keep all beverages in stock. I was offered as many canned Diet Cokes as I wanted during my time at the restaurant, but we all know that canned sodas and fountain sodas are a bit different in terms of taste.
If you're in that area and want wings, spend a couple of extra bucks to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings. We wish we had.
Parmesan Garlic are the best! Honey BBQ is awesome too! I like these wings WAY better that BWW. The employees there are extremely nice, very helpful, and I've never waited longer than five minutes to get wings. I can't understand how anyone couldn't like this place.
Wings To Go wings are the BEST. The food is made fresh and prices are reasonable. Besides wings (with many flavors), they have chicken tenders, fish, sandwiches, fries, salads and more. All cooked fresh, made to order. It's a place to bring the family or enjoy the sports on one of the 3 TVs. Love the wings!
Probably the best place for chicken you will ever find. The owner is very personable, the food is out of this world. So many different choices of flavors. The chicken is cooked fresh so you wait a few minutes for your meal but there are three TV's to keep you busy. The only complaint I have is there are no booths! But it's a small establishment and a sporty one at that, so they aren't really expected.
