I have visited Braum s (#282) on the East Side several times. When ordering an eat in order, the first thing one notices is how unclean the dining area is. Tables are filthy and the floor looks like it gets swept at closing time only. The grocery store side seems to be kept much cleaner. They recently hired a cashier named Lana for the store side, and she has always been as nice as can be. She is by far the kindest cashier so far. The staff at the counter appear to be running all over each other getting their orders. But tonight I went through the drive through for a burger and the young girl taking my order was anything but pleasant. I told her it would be a minute for me to look over the menu, and when I told her I was ready, she replied very snotty and it s an about time attitude well go ahead. I should have drove off at that point, but I was hungry. When I got to window number 1, this young girl again told me how much my order was, and as I was handing her the money (I had the correct amount in coins) she grabbed the dollars out of my hand with her other hand that wasn t taking my coins. Never once did she make eye contact, thank me, or wish me a good night. The young lady at window number 2 was polite, smiled, and offered me a thank you. I will soon be moving farther away from this store, and can bet I ll find another fast food burger place to visit.
