OK..I eaten here a bunch but tonight sucked. The food was average, but what really pissed me off was the slow service. It took 2 hours to get through the meal. no explanation. The manager came to our table & he was a real toad. Short, Dumpy, insecure, indifferant, & scared. He didn't give a crap & it just sucked. I wouldn't be so cheesed but my family was in town. Our waitress tried, but she couldn't overcome the crap service.
Great food, amazing service, nice comfortable and spacious environment, and usually a 0 waiting period. What more could a diner ask for? Oh, how about the delicious espinaca (spinach), frozen sangria swirls (frozen sangria mixed with frozen margarita), and an entree I've never regretted. Most definitely 5 out of 5 stars.
If your looking for good Mexican food look somewhere else. This is the worst dining experience I have had since moving to Oklahoma. At first sight the presentation outside would lead you to believe that this is one of the areas finer restaurants, but looks can be deceiving.
Our table was dirty, our silverware had spots all over it, and I watched as food remained on the floor the whole time we were there. I would have been more willing to ignore all of those factors if the food would had been good, but it only added to the disappointment.
My wife ordered the steak and enchilada combo, and I had the Fajita Chimichanga. My wife's food came five minutes before mine. So I had to sample off of her plate until my food arrived. For a seventeen dollar entree you would think they could give you a decent cut of meat, but every bite tasted as if there was fat mixed in. The mashed potatoes was the best tasting thing on the plate, but nothing you cant easily make at home.
The Fajita Chimichanga was horrible. They smothered it with queso inside and out. Trying to do their best to mask the horrible taste of the chicken. The best thing on my plate was the Spanish rice, and even that was below par to other Mexican restaurants I have been to.
Our waitress was nice and very attentive to our needs. I give her two thumbs up, but overall the restaurant is horrible. Stay away!
