Ted's Cafe Escondido, Oklahoma City

I always eat at Ted s Cafe Escondido. Great food. And the staff is very friendly to the customers.

I have been to Ted's many times and I have had a wonderful meal each time. I found the wait staff to be very attentive and pleasant. The price is a little high but worth every cent......

I just wanted four Cheese Enchilada meals - so Tortillas, Cheese, Rice and Beans - $12.00 each...I am not cheap by any stretch but for $48 I can buy the ingredients and make them at home myself with enough money left over to put gas in my car and go to Jersey Mikes and get two Large Subs. You can bet I will not spend that kind of money on Cheese and Tortillas - EVER!!

Want to be disrespected and have your meal ruined? then run right down to Ted's Espcondido's on south Western and let the unruly kids ruin your meal and the management will let them stay and ruin the whole sections meal!!! This is my favorite mexican restaurant......maybe my favorite all over. I live about 2 1/2 hours away from Oklahoma City and everytime I drive through I have to stop to savor the flavors. I love it!! I wish they would bring one to my home town.

I have went to this Great Mexican Restaurant quite a few times now with my girlfriend and my mom, we all love it. There are three locations all are great. There is always a wait for seating so that should tell you something. The food is priced right also anywhere from 12.95 to 19.95 a plate. If you are new to Oklahoma or visiting I would suggest this place, good Mexican food is very hard to find up here.

its all about the experience of the hsrg restraunts. teds is not at all over priced! i dont know where the shallow pockets are getting that...its a restraunt....if you want something cheap..go to subway. if you want a nice place to sit down for a prepared meal..its going to be more expesive...da. the food is excellent! the wait is short and about it being croweded...i agree but again if its privacy your looking for..stay home!

We have eaten at Ted's twice, the second time on a gift card or we likely wouldn't have gone that time. We can't figure out why people think it's so great. It's loud, pricey, and not any better than Mexican food we've eaten at half the price. It's not bad, just not, IMHO, worthy of all the accolades it receives.

The food is good . . . but it is always too loud and crowded . . . I feel they can make it more comfortable . . . and, waitresses brush by so fast they hit my shoulder! I will say while the food is good, it is NOT the best Tex-Mex in the area . . . I don't know why people think that . . . I'm from Houston and this is basic tex-mex, but nothing special.
