I was a visitor from New York City and last week had the pleasure of dining at the Redrock. I eat out 'in' Manhattan nearly five nights a week and my remark to my friends upon leaving was that my dinner at the Redrock (chicken/cheese enchilada) and skirt steak was the best meal I have had in over a year. I had vowed never to return to OKC, but now, I will be back. I am glad it is not located across the street from me in NYC. I would go broke or gain a thousand pounds. Eat here...unsurpassed. The putz trashing it on 6/1/09 is thinking of a Redrock diner in west Texas, obviously and is clearly the Lone Ranger on his post below. You just keep thinkin', Butch...you rube.

This place in my opinion is great. Not a exactly a family resturant, especially on Thurs - Sat nights. But if you are looking for a great atmosphere & view, excelent service and the best calamari, perfect margeritas, and get this the what has to be the most amazing side salad in town (who calls side salads amazing???), this is the place to go.

Absolutely amazing food! Service was quick an friendly. We went for Sunday Brunch and had 2 entrees and a wonderful pineapple upside down cake for less than $30! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for really really good food.

We went to Red Rock last Thursday, it was too busy to eat. But we did have some drinks at the outside tiki bar. This has to be the busiest place in the city and the outdoor bartenders are amazing! The music was great, the view amazing, and the three people in the bar were overly courteous and efficient. If you are looking for a great place to hang out, this is definately the place for you. We will be back for sure.

I visited Redrock Canyon Grill on May 29, 2009. Nice building; nice location by the lake. We started with calamari that was very good. We had steak entrees that were fine but certainly not great or anything special. We have been to Redrock several times; its pretty consistent and its an okay place to eat; probably a better place to have drinks and watch the sunset. The view is better than the food.

The Red Rock is wounderful I've eaten their many times and the best thing to order are the porkchops, felet and the ribeyes.I had many steaks in okc and I might have lucked up this time but I had the best felet I've ever had in my life at Red rock.It was so tinder you could cut it with a spoon, not fork but a spoon. The service is very good you dont have to find your waiter you can call on any of them and they will help you.The cornbread and chicken is good also great atmosphere especialy on thursday's cant say enough about this place.

The Redrock Canyon Grill is awesome!! If you dont live in OKC and plan to visit the area, you need to put this place on your list. I went there for my 17th birthday with my mom and we loved it!!! Their mashed potatoes are amazing and the view of the lake during an Oklahoma sunset is stunning! (so are the waitresses ;) !!)

They have taken there salmon off the appetizer menu. Every wine I order they were out of and used some lame reason as to why. Meat was under cooked then burned to a crisp. Will never go back.

Those people that gave this place 5 stars must be comparing it to McDonald's. I just wasted $110 taking my family out. The ribeye a whooping $25.99 wasn't anything special. Redrock Canyon isn't a steakhouse, yet, they price their steaks that way. I ordered a glass of champagne, had to wait while they were searching for a bottle of it. Then I was brought a totally different (sweet) kind of champagne. Okay in the wine world, you like sweet or dry-it's not usually something you can switch. I like dry. The type I wanted wasn't cold. They said they could quickly chill it-some special way called rolling it over ice a few times. This barely legal bartender was telling me how he knew how to chill champagne in a matter of minutes by rolling it in an ice bucket two times. Um, okay, yeah. I ended up with the type of champagne I wanted but it wasn't cold at all (gross). Drinking warm champagne is like drinking warm beer. The reason why I ordered champagne was because it is $7 a glass as opposed to the wines that ran $10-12 a glass. Again, like the steak, the wines were way over priced. My two kids split the very large and generous rib platter, but now both are in the bathroom pooping it up. Honestly, I'm pretty ticked off I spent over $100 on such an average meal. If we paid $50, I wouldn't be complaining. There are way too many wait staff waiting on the table. Because of that, we were charged double on a few items. And our sodas, teas and waters were scooped up and away from us when only half full to be replaced a few minutes later with a full glass. It got to the point where no one on our table would let go of their glasses for fear they'd be taken away. That was really annoying. DON'T GO.
