Souper Salad, Norman

Just recently they hired several new people to work for them....The hot food is hot and the cold food is cold.....I am so glad they got new workers to make their food. Check it out!!!

Got really sick after eating there. They should never mix college student food preparation staff and room temperature food. I'm surprised the health department hasn't closed the place by now. Tip to the cooks, don't cut the canteloupe with the red-handled meat knives, mkay?

husband was too- and he's SUPER picky. It was really good, service was great. It was around 2:30 so there wasn't many people so that could be part of it.. but, I liked it a lot. :) Maybe they got ahold of the bad reviews and changed things. ;)

One of the other reviewers nailed this. The food (what there is of it) is either nasty tasting or utterly tasteless (which I guess is a blessing). All of the soups tasted like they were made with about 10 lbs. of salt. And all of the other hot food was gone. Granted it was 6 PM. Why should they expect a crowd at that time. There are better salad bars around and if you are looking for a chowfest, go to Golden Corral. It's more expensive but at least they have food on the buffet.

Im not a big fan of salad. So this place really dosent go over too well with me. And the selection of the Soup is not all that great either. Not a bad place for a light lunch though...

I used to love to go to this place. Then I noticed the more I went there the more the food was nasty, salad was wilted, did not have food stocked on bar, fruit was old, did not have my favorite salad dressing, some of the help does not speak English, and are rude and the wait staff were slow. Oh yeah, the icecream machine was broken, but did not have a sign on it. If you like salad and soup this is a decent place if your not in a hurry. Not a good place to go on your lunch break.
