Bubba's Barbecue, Eureka Springs

I have to say I was slightly disappointed... with all the reviews I read about this place and how GREAT the food was I kinda thought it would knock my socks off... Well first off let me say the pork shoulder sandwich was very moist but the BBQ sauce tasted almost like Arby's sauce... Granted I LOVE ARBY'S SAUCE... I just thought it would blow me away and it didn't... But the potato salad was really good and different... Props to whomever had made that comment... That was the best part about Bubba's... Whoo and talk about claustrophobia... That place is TINY... Again I did really like it but it didn't blow me away like I thought it would

VISITED THIS PLACE ON A SATURDAY NIGHT. THE FOOD WAS SERVED LUKE WARM. THE POTATO SALAD WAS NOT GOOD! ENJOYED THE SALAD. WILL TRY GUIDO'S BARBECUE DOWN THE ROAD NEXT TIME.

the food is good but not quite as good as I wanted it to be. They only take cash or checks which we found to be a reoccurring theme throughout the town. The portions are good for the price. But I didn't like that chips came with every sandwich. It wasn't bad but I don't think I would return

The best REAL BBQ I've had in a long time. The walls are covered in pigs and memorabilia that will keep your eyes bizzy while your mouth is savoring the meal.

Bubba's is the classic little hole-in-the-wall BBQ house, with the best barbecuse I have ever had in my life. The waitstaff is friendly, and Bubba himself will chat freely about anything and everything.

As we were leaving to go home from the vacation from hell, we stop to eat at Bubba's on our way out of town. I had a pulled pork sandwich and it was great. They have two sauces for your bar-b-cue, mild and hot. I am not that adventurous, so I went with the mild but my husband tried it and enjoyed it. You must try their potato salad. They will let you have a sample, if you would like to taste before your buy. It is very unusual but very good. It is made with cream cheese. I had never thought of using cream cheese but it works. The service was excellent, the beer CO-O-OLD, and the food hot and fabulous. If you like bar-b-cue and you are in Eureka Springs, you have to try this one.

Cool atmosphere. Not too fancy like some places try to be. Great BBQ. Sauce is different, but GREAT!! Have choices as well. Can't understand why anyone would be displeased. Prices might be getting a bit high lately. Still TASTY though!!

The other review surprised me too, but it is possible they went on Monday (leftovers tend to be served as smoking doesn't happen on the day off). But WOOO WEEEE nothing could stop me from driving 7 hours south to pick dine at BUBBA'S BBQ!! Don't get me wrong, it's not black tie or first date kind of place. But for someone who appreciates the fine art of Q, my hat is off to BUBBA'S (and a button or two unbuttoned on the pants after a large pulled pork shoulder sandwich). Please visit if you are in the Eureka Springs area, they are awesome.
