Gaskins Cabin Restaurant, Eureka Springs

We went there for our wedding dinner, which was set up ahead of time, and had horrible service. Yes, it was busy but it was like we were more in the way then anything. Also, instead of the one table as discussed, we had to seperate our wedding guests into two tables (only 16 total). We got an eye roll and attitude when asking for pop from the bartender and then drink orders were never asked for except when we went to the bar ourselves. It may be good food but not a good place to hold a wedding dinner.

My Fiance lives in Springfield, MO. As a result, we have tried most of the upscale steak houses in the area. Gaskins Cabin is easily the best! The beef is awesome; flavorful, tender, juicy, huge portions, and cooked to perfection. This opinion comes from trying multiple cuts of beef at Gaskins Cabin. On top of fantastic beef, their sides are amazing as well. The Burgundy Mushroom is ridiculously good. The salads are very fresh. The deserts are fantastic! The Chocolate Bread Pudding is like nothing you have ever experienced. I say experienced, because it truly is something that you will never forget. As for the owners, Lisa and Bert, they are absolutely wonderful people and restauranteurs! They will do everything within their power to ensure that you have a great experience at Gaskins Cabin. Do yourself a favor and take a drive to Gaskins Cabin! Thanks, Drew and Vannessa

We went there on our wedding night...was told it was a good place to go. My husband wanted a steak...so he got the prime rib..bad mistake..was so hard to eat and very fatty. Don't get me wrong it was a nice place as it self but when that happens and they even added the tip in right away when it was just us two. Will never go back there when we come back to Eureka Springs from Wisconsin.

wow thought we were going to a great steak house it was our wedding night wanted a good meal was a very nice atmosphere and service was good but Wow there prime rip (house special) had to be the worst i have ever had it was like a chewy piece of leather others were even complaining i have honestly had a better steak in a truck stop what kind of place adds in there own tip to the bill i will never return to this place again and i plain on coming back to eureka springs but will never eat there again save your money eat somewere else

We had the pleasure of dining at Gaskins in July 2011. The meal we ate was a dinner for two. The food was fanstastic. The service was outstanding. The new owers and staff went out of thier way to ensure everyone had a positive dinning experence. They still have a gravel driveway. It adds to the charm of the cabin steak house. I shall eat there again.

A MUST VISIT FOR HOLIDAY ISLAND!!!! We have been to gaskins cabin every year since 2005 when we visit our vacation home and it is our favriot resturant in the whole of holiday island Arkansas!! Their steaks are absolutley amazing and I am a huge picky steak eater!! The service was fast and great and very friendly! It is so beautiful inside such a perfect little place to just nestle up to your spouse and relax while you eat on the most freshest steak!

Our first experience with Gaskins was unique. We entered the wrong door and they let us stand there for sometime before acknowledging we were in error. The servers tell you one thing and do something else. We waited nearly ten minutes before our server showed up then she was rude. We actually left but the now current owner did talk to us and ask us to stay, we did. My steak was excellent, my husband's chef's special was not at all acceptable. We think the owner needs to work more with his staff, they should be amenable to the patron after all this is not an inexpensive restaurant. The servers reminded us of the servers we encounter at our country club, rather as if they own the place and are doing us a favor to wait on us.

Great steaks, awesome service. We have eaten there several times the past year, and every meal was good. The only disappointment was one time they had sold out of filets, their best cut of meat. Tried the prime instead, and it just wasn't the same.

This was our first time at Gaskins Cabins Steakhouse and we loved it. The food was great!! We were sat quickly and made to feel like we were visiting old friends and not just another customer in off the street. The service was great and the atmosphere was wonderful. The new owners are wonderful!! Will be making frequent visits to this steak house!!
