The owner s son Rousted my husband and I out of the restaurant on our 2nd visit because of my service dog. Apparently Ignorance of the Law is an excuse in Arkansas . Find a restaurant That doesn t discriminate.
I went for a leisurely brunch with two girlfriends recently, and exactly 1 hour and 15 minutes after walking through the door we were rushed out so rudely that none of us will ever go back. The food was fine. I liked the menu choices, but I have never been treated like that and simply will not patronize this restaurant again. Since this incident, I have heard the same story from several others. I say, if you can keep your brunch under an hour go ahead, but if you're looking for a leisurely brunch to catch up with friends and family, go somewhere else!
My wife and I ate lunch there today and we were very impressed. Especially my wife. We had Chicken Salad and Spinach Artichoke Dip- both were excellent. The wait staff were extremely propt and friendly- it was a pleasureable experience. We will be going again.
In the last month I have been here four times. The wait staff a few months back is what I remember the most. One of the girls was crying as her boss continued to demand better working habits. I felt so bad for the girl crying as she brought our plates to us. She no longer can be seen here, good for her.
Weekends, I usually go here for brunch. I had to ask for the biscuts and gravy to be nuked to bring them up to temperature. Well they nuked the orange slice on the plate as well which although did make it a bit of a aromatherapy appeal did lessen attention effort. Egg beaters were dry and well, non-responsive. Sandwhiches are a bit less then desirable as they usually have too much cheese and no flavor.
Soups mildly entertaining and on their bread they use way too much butter to toast. I just ask for alittle improvement.
Wait staff has improved now lets work on whats important!
This is one of those small hidden place only the locals know about. You can go in for a full meal or just coffee and still get the best of service. The owner is a gem. She is one of those people who CARE about her customers.
This place has the BEST chicken salad, but it is a little pricey. If the prices came down a little I could eat there more. I just don't like paying $10 everyday to each lunch because I have to budget my money each month. I do go as much as my pocket will allow.
