The Decor and the Service are great. The kitchen can be slow at times. The fish served by Peter Brave is the best in town. The salads and homemade bread are exceptional as well. In fact, the main course of every meal I've had here has been good. The problem here is that the sides, soups, and appetizers are greatly lacking. If they could raise the level of these three, they would be right at the top of the list for the best dining in LR. B

My husband & I celebrated our 11 year wedding anniversary here & we enjoyed everything so much! It all was wonderful, the location may be a bit odd, as some have commented on, but doesn't that say alot of the food? Most places in odd locations flop, this has survived, only explanation, wonderful food & wonderful service! Not a AAA 5 star upity place by any means, but good food, good service & anyone can feel comfortable there, was not disappointed in any way. I think if you don't find this place great you may just have bad taste..

My wife and I dined here for our 7th wedding anniversery. Service was great but food was absolutely horrible. appetizers were decent; Brie soup a little runny, but flavorful; smoked fish very tasty, but served w/store bought crackers, a few onion slices and store-bought mustard. We could have done better at home. Caesar salad was dry w/old crutons and old lettuce. Entrees were another story: Every meat/seafood entree seems to be covered in a sickly-sweet sauce. My vegees looked like they were cooked early in the morning then re-heated prior to service: extremely dry and rubbery. When pointed out to the waiter, he said that the vegees were pan roasted and should look/taste like that (BS!); he offered up steamed vegess instead; I accepted but noticed on my tab that they tried to charge for them--later resolved. The Vennison was absolutely horrible. Thin, indescript cut of meat masked w/fried onions and some kind of wine/onion sauce. I ate a third of it and turned it back. My wife ordered the 8 oz fillet which was cooked correctly, but again covered with too much sauce (are they hiding a flaw?) and cost $29!!!!! I spoke briefly with the manager, but he barely could look me in the eye. Although a wonderful atmosphere for a romantic evening, do not waste your time. Terrible food for the price and a much better experience can be had at Cajun's Wharf w/much better food (and cheaper!) Vennison entree removed from bill, which was nice, but bill was still $96 for two (two martini's, two glasses of wind, two appetizers, and two entrees). I expect much more for that amount of money.

The food here was pretty good and they had dishes that are harder to get in LR (ie lamb, veal, etc). Would go back. Great vista over the river. It is in a VERY ODD location and building. If you can get past that you will enjoy the meal.

This restaurant has the quality of food you'd typically get at a "tiny food" establishment, but with larger portions. Great, friendly service, not overly formal or pretentious, and a lovely view of the river. Don't be put off by the location in an office building...the atmosphere is great, and the food is excellent!

Expensive, but Amazing

I went here for prom, and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is very elegant, and the food is delicious and has great presentation. It's EXTREMELY pricy though.

Peter Brave never fails as chef or a great person, My husband takes me here for every special occasion, I almost always have the stuffed chicken and it's just unexplainabley good! One time Peter Brave came over to chat with us (because that is what he does) while I was falling in love with his chocolate creme brulle and I thanked him for doing what he does so well and by the time my husband paid the check he had copied the brulle recipe for me as an anniversary present HELLO who does that anymore? that is the quality of service you will find here, it is my most favorite place to dine and I can't wait for the next special occasion!

Amazing... Simple and delicious. I had giant scallops that melted with buttery perfection. I also tried the halibut and this may have very well been the best meal I have ever tasted. Who knew that good seafood could be found in Little Rock. The prices were not bad compared to other fine dining establishments in other parts of the country. And with the amount it must cost to have fresh fish overnighted must be insanely high with fuel prices. Very pleased.

VERY expensive for small portions. Beautiful view of the river and great staff. I would not go again though.

I enjoy setting out on the deck watching the river. Service is attentive. The broiled trout is perfect. My husband likes the pork chops.
