Whole Hog Cafe & Catering, Little Rock

Ate there yesterday and I have to say they need to return the trophies they rented for ribs they ain't foolin anybody anymore.Those were small dry bland ribs a big big disappointment.Save your money,if you want ribs of course go to McClards in Hot Springs or if you need to stay in town go to Rib crib in Benton not Searcy, Benton on Tuesday night its all you eat ribs st louis style for 13.00.A great deal on very good large ribs..Whole hog is just a run of the mill BBQ thats not one of the best.Best BBQ sandwich is Fat boys killer BBQin east end by far and use the hot sauce.

Best BBQ I've ever had, and I've eaten at dozens of BBQ joints over the years.....and 6 sauces to choose from on yer table! The slaw and potato sald are excelent as well....3 locations in LR/NLR now!

Simply great. We like the brisket the best. 6 choices of BBQ sauce make it even better.

Whole Hog is okay. It is definitely not the best in town though. That award goes to Sim's and over the river to Lindsey's. The ribs here are dry and tough. The pulled pork is decent but I wasn't blown away. I've been here qutie a bit over the years because it's the closest bbq place to my house and it scratches the bbq itch pretty good but if I want outstanding bbq, I go to Sim's. Always. Also, Whole Hog makes the worst potato salad I've ever eaten. It tastes very waxy and they use a lot of mayo and ranch dressing (?). Strange.

One of the top 10 BBQ restaurants my wife and I have been to on our travels throughout the U.S. We had the pulled chicken, 1/2 chicken and ribs. Loved the slaw and bbq. The beans had too much molasses for our taste. They had great flavor and would be really very good if someone decided on a lighter hand with the blackstrap. It's all you can taste and there are some very good flavors underneath. We liked the choice of 6 sauces. They were all very tasty. The mustard sauce was really good with the pulled chicken. The prices were low and value very high. This is a must stop in Arkansas.

By far the best BBQ in the Little Rock/North Little Rock! I had the half chicken which was so moist it was like it just came out of the oven, the potatoe salad is awesome and the sweet tea was delicious. Highly recommend this BBQ over any of the other BBQ joints in town.

Best by far! The meat is not chopped and is cooked fresh each day. The sauces are fun to try and mix as you like. Service is fast so if you see a crowd don't let it stop you, you will be able to order from door to counter in 10 mins. If you try this it will become your favorite too! There is an extra hot sauce, but it is not on the table you have to ask for it. Wow they even have other locations in Arkansas. Wish they had more desert options, but doesn't matter you will be to full to eat desert anyway.

I went today 11-8-08 with my family and it was great. This was my first time to eat at whole hog cafe and i was expecting it to be good. I read the yahoo reviews from the users and they were straight on. I would recommend anything there. 9 stars!

Quite possibly the best bbq in all of Little Rock. I ate there once before I moved up here and I can honestly say it was one of the things I looked forward to when I finally settled down here. Love the food!!
