Shogun Japanese Steakhouse, Little Rock

This is the worst Shoguns we ever ate at. The cook we had , was not pleasant, no personality, looked as if he didnt want to be there. They are very skimpy on there food, we have ate better steak, rice & vegetables at other Shoguns, We also ordered Sushi & I was not impressed. We use to live in East Texas & Rogers, AR. The Shoguns in those areas are much nicer, newer & bigger. They have Sushi bars & the food tastes 100% better. I would not ever recommend this one in Little Rock, AR.

Compared to other Shogun Steakhouses, this one ranks dead last. The atmosphere is so-so. I took a group of students there and the chef was not entertaining at all. He was boring. As for the food, the rice was clumpy, the steak was tough and stringy. Definitely not a choice grade steak. Also the menu said that each dinner came with a shrimp appetizer which we didn't get. I have taken taken a group of students to this steakhouse for the past three years and this will be the last. Too bad this Shogun has not kept up with the quality of the Shogun's we frequent in Fayetteville and Branson.

I was very disappointed in the atmosphere at this Shogun... Maybe it was the night, but i nor my date was pleased... Try your luck but i will try somewhere else next time i am in Little Rock!

I loved the food and the service. The cook was amazing and friendly and the food was YUMMY!!! Shoguns is my all time favorite place to eat!

The best food I've ever had. Can't wait to go back. Also, fun and romantic. We went to the Looney Bin comedy house after dinner. Had a wonderful night.

I love Shogun's Steak House! It's my favorite place to eat...I could eat it everyday! I love the rice, its the best ever.

As I continue my trek across the Little Rock Sushi scene, I found Shogun. It was very busy, and although it was crowded they seemed to sit people fairly quickly. I was seated at the Sushi bar immediately, and filled out my order form. I watched Eddie do his thing, quietly, but adeptly. The sushi was excellent, and portions balanced perfectly with the price. The only thing I would change would be the Miso soup. It was westernized...I like mine with kelp and tofu, thiers was made more for the American tastes. Other than that, well worth the trip. Check it out!

We loved going there for lunch at least twice a week and dinner maybe once or twice a month. Whenever we have a birthday party or if someone visits us, we always take them there. Recently the prices have gone way up. No more Promotions i guess. We don't go there as much now but we still think it's a cool palace to go.
