Fish Nest Family Restaurant, Glenwood

My husband and I went to the Fish Nest on 6/21/2010....They were serving a buffet at the time, but we decided to order off the menu. We ordered the chicken fried steak, salad, and baked potato. The food was good! Our waitress was not the most friendly person in the place, but she did keep our drinks filled. The other staff members seemed very nice, she must have just been having a hard night....I would recommend you try it out!!!

I wasn't inpressed. I decided to skip the so called seafood buffet because it didn't have anything other than shrimp on it, and called it seafood buffet. Most seafood buffets also include crab legs, fried clams and that kind of thing. Pricey too for the buffet. I ordered from the menu since the buffet was so crowded, only to get a skimpy plate of fried jumbo shrimp that didn't look jumbo size, cole slaw and baked potato. Service was great but my plate wasn't even covered. Desserts...looked like from a nursing home or something...thrown together types of cheese cake mixes in a sheet pan. Who would want that? Get with the program Fishnet and hire some cooks that can actually cook, speak and read English:) Then maybe you might have more return customers:)

I live in california and I love the fish nest, we don't get good food like that around here I give the Fish Nest 5 stars

Have been twice and if you leave hungry, it's your own fault! Great Chicken Fried Steak, husband loved the seafood buffet, service was great and everyone was very friendly. Absolutely a return customer!
