Stubby's BBQ, Hot Springs

we wanted bbq while on vacation in hot springs and i remember driving by this place Stubby's BBQ and the next night decided to stop and try it, all the other resturants we were going to eat and and did eat at were from visitors guide and reviews from internet, but i had NO clue about this place. we were NOT disappointed!!! food wad great only 2nd best to corky's in memphis, tn. My husband ordered a "plate special" of pork and side dishes I thou wanted ribs & pork so I ordered a "Combation for 1" WHAT a mistake. This was sooooooo much food it could of feed 2 easily... but the ribs were great along with the pork but the beef i didn't care for. beans were ok tasted like pork and beans with barbq sauce in them and potatoe salad was more like a mustard potatoe salad than mayo based like i like it, could of really used some paprika, but overall GREAT bar b que place to eat and will go there again when in hot springs

Stubby's BBQ is the best. The sauce is not to sweet or hot and Chris cooks his sauce himself. The deviled eggs, potatoe salad, slaw, baked beans all these sides set the meal off just right. And as if that aint enough he serves up peach cobbler. Get ready because you are in for a treat. You do not want to miss eating at Stubby's when you come to Hot Springs Ar. A loyal patron...

BEING FROM THE HOME OF RIBS & BLUES I CAN RECOMMEND ONLY ONE PLACE FOR RIBS BETWEEN HOT SPRINGS & CHICAGO. STUBBY'S IN HOT SPRINGS. I'VE TRIED MOST OF THE REST AND FINALY FOUND THE BEST. THE MOST MOUTH SMACKLIN, RIB STICKEN RIBS AND SAUCE YOU HAVE EVER TASTED. BRING MY FRIENDS AND KIDS WHEN THEY VISIT US UP HERE. wow, wow, wow!! My husband and I were in Hot Springs on vacation and really wanting some bbq at 8:00 pm. This is the only place we could find open. So glad we decided to stop. The food was awesome and the service was as great!! Thank you all so much!! The "on the house" peach cobbler was the perfect top off. This place has definitely made it on the return venue!

I grew up eating Stubby's! It is no where near as good as McClards Bar-B-Q, but a good change. The close proximity to the track makes it a good choice.

The pork ribs are to die for and the signature spud, The Supreme divine ,all side dishes homemade this is great bbq with great folks all around the place

last time I ate at Stubbys was in 1982 and the taste of the best bbq in the country still lingers! even better than the rendezvous in memphis!
