We ate at Leon s over a year ago and it was very good. So, when came back to Pine Bluff today, we were happy to eat here again. We were very disappointed!!!! The fish was no only tasteless, but was TOUGH?? I have never had tough catfish. There were several people in the restaurant. They were eating as if nothing was wrong. To make a long story short....WE WILL NOT EAT HERE AGAIN!!!
I was craving fish and so we went to Leons. I had not been there in several years, and was surpirse there was no crowd. Less than 10 people in the place.
I ordered the fish/shrimp combo. The giant fan tailed shrimp were small slivers and the fish was left on the plate. It tasted bad....like the way big muddy catfish tastes. It cost almost 30 dollars for the two of us- no desert or extras and it was bad. I found out later they had changed hands.
It is a shame...if the food is good, poepl will come. I predict this place will be close in the net few months. In any event I will not be back.
I get to Pine Bluff only a few times a year but each time I try to get to Leon's at least once. Every time I have been there the food has been excellent and the waitresses were friendly and efficient. It's one of my favorite places
I have to agree the place is good but really NOT good enough to write positively about. The girl that wrote that review below, i think works there so thats pretty biased. Part of the half assed happy but not really waitresses that attribute to the complete lack of atmosphere the place has.
For someone who hasnt eaten in a week this place would probably be pretty good. But for someone whos not on drugs and eats regularly , the food is just what i call eatable. nothing more nothing less
